Branches across Dorset, Devon, Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire & South Wales. As the premier independently run vehicle hire company based across the South West and into Wales, U-Drive is proud to have been a family-run business since 1982. We offer a large range of high quality vehicles maintained to an exceptional standard, superb customer service, and a fully knowledgeable team. In addition to vehicle rental, U-Drive also specialise in vehicle leasing and commercial vehicle sales. U-Drive operates a network of rental locations based across the South of England and into Wales, including our own workshops and MOT centres. We offer over 4,000 commercial vehicles and cars, with specialist vehicles also available as part of long-term hire and bespoke contract hire arrangements.

First look at the new 2026 Toyota Hilux Invincible Double Cab

The first of 10 new Hilux Invincible Double Cabs have arrived with us, with the rest following over the next week or so, and first impressions are very good.

Toyota has really moved the Hilux on.

It still feels every bit the tough, dependable working pickup you expect, but the biggest difference is just how much more refined it feels. The cabin, driving position and overall finish feel like a genuine step forward, while it still retains that solid, purposeful Hilux character.

And it looks fantastic.

The new styling gives it a much stronger road presence and, in Invincible specification, it manages to look smart enough for everyday use while still being completely at home as a working vehicle.

After getting behind the wheel, our initial verdict is simple:
This feels like a big step up for the Hilux.
