Apologies for not posting much over the last few months. It has been rather busy!

But I got one of those uplifting emails this morning from one of our amazing customers who just got around to building his Special Edition Sopwith Camel - Wings of Horus.

Here's what Laurent said:

Hi Jon,

First flights today for this Sopwith Camel—ordered two years ago but assembled just last week, working on it each evening.

I had never built a model requiring such meticulous care. The level of detail is incredibly fine: the rotary engine, the tiny fuel pump propeller that actually spins! And the magnificent livery—that’s what really won me over.

You need a steady hand to assemble these tiny parts.

The flight is gentle, though the wind was already too strong for such a fragile airframe.

Future flights will likely take place in a gymnasium.

Kudos on a truly extraordinary product line.

Even more Microaces Hawker Hurricane test flight footage.

More early morning sessions, getting used to the flight characteristics of the Hurricane and testing the stabilisation system for recommendation. I was using a 660mAh Lipo, giving over 7 mins of flight.

I'm just putting the final touches to the kit, with documentation and 3D parts being created currently.

Expected shipping to start in mid July.

This July the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) hosts the FAI F4 World Scale Championships at their site in Buckminster, Leicestershire. The first time since 1978 that the event has been held on UK soil.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion the BMFA and Microaces have collaborated to create a scale model of a scale model, built, flown and campaigned by the man who was the catalyst to bringing the World Scale Championships back to the UK: Mike Goldby.

Sunday morning at the cricket pitch with the Microaces Cricket!

I could fly this aircraft all day. It's just so easy to clown around with. Just a handful of 300mAh 1S batteries and a spot of breeze (to make it interesting) Plus it's easy to keep in a small box in the car as the wings come off. They're only attached with a couple of rubber bands - old skool!🧐
