We had a great visit yesterday from a group of Aurora Boveridge College students, all hoping to build a career in the motor trade 🚗

Matt and Andy gave them a tour of the workshop, walking them through the diagnostic equipment, the work we take on day-to-day, and how they each got started in the industry 🔧

The students came with plenty of questions, and it was great to see so much interest in the trade. Bringing new talent through matters to us, so we're always glad to open our doors to the technicians of the future 👏

A big thank you to Aurora Boveridge College for coming down. Best of luck to everyone with their studies 🎓

Hope everyone had a great bank holiday weekend! 👋

We’re back in the workshop, and it’s already been a busy start to the week, with plenty going on across both our main workshop and EV side. 🔧

If the bank holiday miles have highlighted anything that needs some attention, drop us a message or give the team a call. 📱💬

Faulty sensors? No problem!

This Mercedes E53 recently came in with temperamental front passenger sensor issues, causing grief for the owner. Robert ran the diagnostics, identified the issue, and got stuck in to carry out the work. ⚙️🔧

Whether it's sensor issues or anything else your car throws at you, our team's got you covered. 🤝

India, one of our Apprentice Technicians, carrying out a service on this Jaguar as she approaches the end of her first year of training. 🚗🔧

Since joining us in September, India has continued to develop her technical skills through her three-year course with Bournemouth and Poole College, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the workshop. 👩‍🔧

Not something we see every day in the workshop!

This Jaguar Hearse came in for an engine replacement. It's certainly a little different from the usual vehicles we work on, and it definitely made for a change from the usual lineup.

No two days at Star Tech are ever the same, and that's one of the things we love most about what we do. 🔧
