Morning guys, just a message as it’s seeming difficult to communicate with every single learner of Ollie’s. Ollie was taken into hospital in the early hours of the morning. We will continue to update you as we go along. And a message will be put out once Ollie is home and sorting his work messages out. Thank you for being understanding 🚗

Important message -

I am aware of some social media posts that are trying to harm my business. I would like to assure everyone that we are a legit driving school and all current learners lessons will still go ahead and planned accordingly. We aren’t a scam at all & these posts have been removed with proof shared with the relevant parties.

I created this driving school 5 years ago. Every single message with anyone is on file and I never refused to do lessons with anyone. I’ve always tried to resolve any issues with people in the fairest possible way.

Ever since Covid & I know I can speak for most instructors, we’ve been overloaded with students all desperate to pass their driving tests and get on the road as quickly as possible, Unfortunately, as everyone is aware, there is a huge backlog with both theory and driving tests still 4 years on now. This makes it extremely difficult for us and as a driving instructor, I have always advised learners to get the theory done and out of the way as quickly as possible, so then a driving test can be booked as there’s roughly a 4/6 month wait once the theory is passed for a practical and we have to prioritise those with practical tests.

I would like to also point out if any lessons have been cancelled over the last 5 years, have all been for true and legitimate reasons, I’ve also been very open and honest with learners whenever lessons have had to be cancelled my end. However, whilst people think it’s okay to post stuff on social media, it does have a massive impact on not only my life & mental health but also other family members and friends that aren’t even linked to driving school. And just to clarify that Ollie's & Emma’s work & students are completely separate.

I am absolutely disgusted to say that I have received threats from people wanting to cause harm not only to myself but also my children and wishing ill health on them even though we have been back and forth with the doctor & hospital with especially my eldest boy who isn’t even 2 years old. I’ve had prank calls, voice notes and even someone call pretending to be a police officer just so they could get my address.

Please also note as driving instructors we are self - employed, I do have a family and I’m allowed to have time off now and again. I have two children now under 2 years old, when I get home from work, sometimes it is very hard to reply to work related messages straight away because the kids want to see daddy & if I’m out on the road on lessons we can’t instantly reply, I apologise if that upset’s people.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the learners, family members and friends that have checked on me today, it’s not easy trying to run a business, especially when people aren’t sharing the full story, but I will not give up and with the bad, there is always the good and I’m so grateful for all the learners that have stood by me, continue to take lessons.
