A few people have said us fitting a 314Ah battery into a VW Transporter on our previous post was completely ludicrous…
…we agreed.
So we fitted a 628Ah instead. 😎⚡
Because if **314Ah is ludicrous… 628Ah just makes sense. 😉

This installation features a Fogstar Drift PRO 12V 628Ah lithium battery, neatly recessed beneath the RIB bed without sacrificing valuable storage space.
To make it fit perfectly, we recessed the floor, allowing the battery to sit directly on the structural ply floor. The battery casing is completely isolated from the steel RIB bed frame using Armaflex isolation tape, while the bed itself is preloaded onto the battery, creating a rock-solid, vibration-free installation. Additional rubber isolation points ensure there is no metal-to-metal contact anywhere around the battery.
No straps. No compromise. Just clean engineering.
