Folks, we have this professionally retrimmed complete interior for the highwayman & bedouin models (will fit others depending on layout) would also work in a self build van.

I have the receipts and it cost nearly Β£2000 back in 2011 and today would prob be double that.

Its a top quality job, as you can see its 15 years old and still looks very modern and amazing condition and with a steam it would look like new again...no tears, burns or permanent stains atall.

This will totally transform your older style motorhome

X2 retrimmed seat box
X2 seat swivel plates
X2 cab wrap around curtains with rail & tie backs
X2 overcab window curtains
X4 habitation window curtains with tiebacks

Folks its been on the cards for many many years, ive lived in vans now for 10 years plus (started in a tiny van, even some cars in early days) i have a big tow van/camper already but its finally time to BUILD MY FORT with Everything i need and head for Europe & Morocco on an epic adventure im planning hopefully for next winter

Folks id love to have rebuilt this but realistically it would sit there for atleast a year, we have enough of them and we have just sold engine & gearbox πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ...please someone save her, the guy we had it off has put so much time in this

Sooo what is it, 1989 Mk1 Talbot Express Swift Kontiki.
These are known for being higher spec, bigger models that are still made today. Very good condition, damp/rot free kontikis of this era still fetch in the region of Β£8.5k plus today.

They are made using an alko galvinised rear chassis that bolts to the main cab/tub chassis which creates the platform to build bigger motorhomes as you see here.

They come with most the bells and whistles from the full bodykit, fiberglass roof pod and rear spoiler section, 2.5 turbo diesel engine & usually 6 birth with a good interior spec.

This one has been through a TOTAL REBUILD but as you can see it needs finishing.

ALL the hard work has been done, fully welded up professionally and fully repainted, all the rear frame has been completely rebuilt, every single part of it so is now solid...then over the aluminium original side pannels its had genuine thin motorhome sheeting, has been totally re weathersealed.

The cab is absolutely lovely with NO RUST the outside habitation area is pretty much complete and looks good

This has had so much time and money spent on it but it still needs a full fit out on the rear which could be made into anything...its 100% solid both cab & habitation area, engine work all been done and will make a rather nice motorhome again.
