Errr that’s gross 🤢

This customer came to us for an Air Con issue, it worked fine but the smell was awful.

Investigation found the pollen filter had not been changed in a very long time and had started growing things in it, not very nice to breathe in obviously.

A new pollen filter and an Air Con refresh spray sorted the job. Yet another case of poor maintenance causing an issue.

We offer Air Con Regassing for both the “new” and “old” gas and we can carry out leak testing and diagnostic work on your broken systems.

After this job left us we were a little concerned about the nasties that might be living in our vents and now all Air Con regas jobs get a special anti bacterial spray down the vents.

Out with the old and in with the new.

It’s been a long time coming for updating the shop frontage. It’s had some slight changes over the years but the 2 side panels were last updated well over 12 years ago and definitely looked their age, I mean when weren’t all major credit cards taken 🤣

As you can see it’s been simplified a lot and kept it really simple for showing the 3 separate businesses operating inside.

We’ve added a “cool wall” for you to make your mark over the future years buy adding stickers and pictures onto it.

Finally a BIG thank you for everyone for getting this done, from the person who has been pestering us for the last many years to do it, to the the only design man that we would trust with it, to the man who took the job on making the stickers when no body local would and finally to the man we roped into sticking them on.

Here’s to them lasting another 12+ years 🤣

“The names Autos, C S Autos.”

Sorry couldn’t resist 🤣. So we’ve had an Aston Martin in for some repair work. This customer uses us for all he servicing and maintenance needs.

This time it was an Engine Management Light (EML) our diagnosis was the secondary air pump had failed. When activated the pump sounded rough and when stripped we could clearly see the internals had been catching inside. New pump for this one.

This turned out to be an expensive fix for a unit that only runs for 30 seconds or so during the cold start process. Secondary air pumps are to reduce emissions during that initial start up only. Once that “excess” fuel has be removed the pumps stop and the engine works without it.
