Massive congratulations to Lacey Bedford on passing her driving test today at Wakefield Driving Test Centre! 🚗🎉

Lacey was absolutely determined not to become the latest Roadwise Facebook celebrity and was so camera shy that getting a photo of her face was never going to happen! 📸🙈 So you'll just have to take my word for it that she was smiling underneath the celebration.

A well-deserved pass and another licence added to the collection. Enjoy the freedom, Lacey, and stay safe out there!

While we're on the subject of camera dodgers, an honourable mention also has to go to Chantelle Banks, who passed first time last week. Chantelle either flat-out refused a photograph, refused permission to post, or both... so I've only just been granted clearance to mention it now! 😂

Huge congratulations to both Lacey and Chantelle on their fantastic results. Enjoy life on the roads without me sat in the passenger seat telling you what to do! 🚗😆

A quick heads-up for anyone currently learning with me, or thinking of booking lessons.

For the first time in 4 years, my lesson prices will be increasing by £5 per hour from 1st October.

I've managed to avoid putting prices up for quite a while, but fuel prices seem to have decided they want to train for a Formula 1 career and keep racing upwards. Unfortunately, the cost of running the car, fuel, insurance and everything else that comes with it has followed suit.

I've always tried to keep my prices as reasonable as possible and absorb as many increases as I can, but even my calculator is now shaking its head at me.

The good news is that you'll still get the same patient, relaxed lessons, the same terrible jokes, and the same commitment to helping you pass your test as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Roadwise Wakefield Driving School. It's genuinely appreciated.

🎉🚗 Massive congratulations to Emily Broadhead on passing her driving test FIRST TIME today at Wakefield Driving Test Centre! 🚗🎉

After successfully convincing the examiner that she does, in fact, know what she's doing behind the wheel, Emily drove away with a shiny new pass certificate and only one problem left... having to drive everyone everywhere! 😂

It's been a pleasure helping you on your journey, and all your hard work has paid off with a fantastic first-time pass.

Enjoy your new-found freedom, stay safe, and remember—your taxi service officially starts today! 🚕🤣

Well done, Emily! 👏🎊🚘

🎉🚗 Huge congratulations to Chloe Edwards on passing her driving test FIRST TIME at Wakefield Driving Test Centre today! 🚗🎉

And what a result it was – passing after just 8 weeks of lessons with only 3 minor faults! 👏👏

To be fair, if there had been a test for nerves before the driving test, Chloe might have thought she'd failed that one! 😆 Despite an extremely nervous start to the day, she held it together, showed the examiner what she could do, and came away with a fantastic first-time pass.

It's amazing what can happen when you stop imagining every possible disaster and just drive the car! 😂

A brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved. Enjoy the freedom, independence, and not having to listen to me telling you where to go anymore! 🚘😁

Well done, Chloe, and thank you for choosing Roadwise Wakefield Driving School.

Congratulations Shane Lyons on passing today — and doing it easily — at Wakefield Driving Test Centre with only 3 minor marks! 🚗💨

Would probably have happened a year ago if he hadn’t gone into a full one-year sulk after getting 3 minors on his first test… and somehow still managing a silly fail 😂

But fair play, he came back, got it done properly this time, and smashed it 👏

Enjoy the freedom, Shane — and remember, the test is over now, so you can stop relying on lifts to work 😎

Congratulations Sarah Cains on yet another camera-shy first-time pass at Wakefield Driving Test Centre 🎉🚗

Despite the nerves trying their best to make an appearance, you proved today exactly why I had complete faith in you from the start. Now it’s time for you to start believing in yourself as much as I believed in you!

A brilliant drive and a well-deserved result — enjoy the freedom, stay safe, and remember… no pretending you “can’t” drive to avoid giving people lifts! 😄👏

Big congratulations to Alexandra Christiana on passing her driving test today at Wakefield! 🎉🚗

Not a first-time pass, but honestly, that makes it even more impressive. Considering the nerves on test, you held it together and put in a really solid drive when it mattered most 👏

Proof that sticking with it pays off — well done, you earned this one! I’ll see you for a motorway lesson when you get your new car 😄 Drive safe!

Well done, Sarah Phillips! 🎉🚗 First time pass today at Wakefield Driving Test Centre – clearly all that excellent teaching paid off 😄

No more L plates, no more me nagging about mirrors… just you, the open road, and the sudden realisation that you're on your own now 👀

Massive achievement though – You deserved it

And a big thank you for the Jameson’s wh***ey and card… I’ll be raising a glass tonight to celebrate your success (purely professional reasons, of course 🥃😏)

Stay safe out there, and remember… I’m still judging your driving if I see you on the road! 👀👏

Huge congratulations to Ellie Lees on a FIRST TIME PASS at Wakefield Driving Test Centre today! 🚗💨

A brilliant drive with only 4 minor faults… although I feel obliged to point out that if someone had remembered to check her blind spot like she promised me she would, we’d be talking about just 2 minors. But who’s counting? (Me. I’m counting. 😂)

In all seriousness, a fantastic result and very well deserved. You kept the nerves under control, drove to a high standard, and proved you were more than ready… selective blind spot memory aside!

Enjoy the freedom, stay safe, and remember — the blind spot still exists even when I’m not in the passenger seat! 😄🎉

Massive congratulations to Craig Townend on a FIRST TIME pass at Wakefield Driving Test Centre today… with only ONE minor mark! 👏🚗💨

An absolutely brilliant drive from start to finish, and to top it off, the examiner even commented on the high standard of driving… I’ll just go ahead and take full credit for that!! 🤣

It’s been a pleasure helping you get to this point — calm, consistent and clearly test-ready. You smashed it!

Enjoy the freedom, stay safe, and I’ll see you out on the road! 🚘🎉
