VW Crafter

VW Crafter in with us for the week having some massive upgrades! This crafter started out life as a basic start line van with the very bottom rage radio. It’s now leaving us with a stunning Alpine Halo 11! While this vehicle was in with us we not only fitted a brand new radio we’ve also fitted the following, reversing camera, stage 1 sound upgrade, ambient lighting, Multifuntion steering wheel with adaptive cruise control and all the necessary wiring to add rear speakers when the vehicle has been fitted out as a camper van!

Stage 1 audio package in the crafters incudes the premium Esatto audio speakers, the door has been fully sound deaden and the door card deadening and acoustic foam applied, to seal the door back up we used the CTK foal this creates a nice tight seal agains the door and works much better then just sound deadening over the hole! A small adjustments were made in the radio to time align the speakers and crossovers to stop the radio sending bass frequencies to the door woofers.

Genuine VW adaptive cruise control steering wheel supplied and fitted along with the front assist sensor recalibrated for adaptive cruise control. This specific vehicle also required an extra wiring running to the ecu, with the vehicle not being equipped with cruise control from factory this wire is missing and without it cruise control will not work.

VW Crafter

VW Crafter in for a scorpion S5 Plus, adaptive cruise control, towbar electrics fitting and coding and there dash cam installed!

The Scorpion s5 Plus works by stopping the vehicles from starting without the tags present, this protects you against relay attacks and even theft of the keys themself! The s5 plus system is also monitored 24/7 so if the vehicle was to be moved in anyway without the tag present the customer would be contacted to ensure that this movement is authorised, this makes this system not only a proactive system but also a preventative security system.

Genuine VW adaptive cruise control steering wheel supplied and fitted along with the front assist sensor recalibrated for adaptive cruise control!

Customer pre fitted the 13pin plug and ran the tow bar electors from the rear of the vehicle to the front, we installed the necessary CANBUS and linbus wiring into the BCM and coded according.

Customer asked if we could run the wires for there dash cam while we was there and this wasn’t a problem, we have a free 10 minute so instead of just running these wires we fully installed the dash camera and hardwired it into the customer fuse box

All work was completed at the customers resident!

BMW 3 Series

Bit of a different one! We’ve had a BMW 3 series in for a full MATCH sound system and Rockford Fostgate P3 subwoofer!

The full install was completed within 2 days including sound deadening the vehicle.

Custom amp rack made up for everything with everything terminated and heat shrinked correctly

VW Crafter in for are stage 1 sound package and ambient lighting!

VW Crafter in the shop recently having are stage 1 sound package install, this Inc custom tweeter adaptors to ensure a damage free install along with extensive sound proofing and a new vapour barrier installed! Ensuring the speaker has the best possible enclosure to play within.

The owner also wanted to lighten the interior up, so we added the following, Door handle, door pockets (both pocket per door), footwell lights and a strip across the dash. This was all wired up so that during the day it is completely invisible but come night everything comes to life!

Volkswagen Crafter

VW Crafter in this week for a new steering wheel fitting along with adaptive cruise control!

This vehicle has the newer Bosch ECU so we added the new wire to the ECU for cruise control!

All work was completed within a day while the customer waited.

VW Transporter T6

VW T6 in this week for some upgrades and investigation. The vehicle had previously had a sub and amp fitted a few years ago. The sub had stopped playing any sound but would occasionally play a few notes at a very low volume.

We were initially unsure of the exact issue, but we have all the equipment in-house to test and find the cause. On further inspection and testing, it became clear that the Vibe mono block had failed — power cycling with no proper output. We also found that a connection inside the box had come loose. We replaced the cable and internal connections to ensure there are no issues moving forward and replaced the Vibe mono block with a brand new Phoenix Gold 1000.1 mono block.

The sub is now playing bass and sounding as good as it looks 😎

While the customer was with us, he opted for a new wireless CarPlay head unit — the Kenwood 8021DABS. The correct adaptation loom was used to ensure all factory features were retained, including climate control, multi-function steering wheel controls, and more importantly, parking sensors!
