It switches on and illuminates as it always did but beyond that have decommissioned it and retrofitted it with completely new circuitry and an amplifier that will give you DAB/FM radio and all of your personal media (Spotify, Amazon Music Sat.Nav. etc.) via Bluetooth It will deliver 100w per channel so it is plenty powerful enough and it is also possible to make and receive telephone calls hands free using a discreet remote microphone receiver. Volume and tracks can be adjusted with the remote control and touching your phone is not necessary whilst driving.
Please don't compare these conversions to the cheap adaptations on Ebay etc. with a £3 circuit board bodged into them, they don't last five minutes and sound awful. These are quality conversions using premium products that I personally tested over several months for quality, reliability and most importantly, safety.
