Swan decking underway at our Yacht Haven Quay site.

Our team is currently carrying out the design, manufacture and installation of EVO decking with every stage completed in-house to ensure complete control over the finished product.

Once the decking is fully bonded, the next stage will be the refit of all deck hardware, bringing the project together with the attention to detail expected from a professional refit.

Insurance repair completed following a minor collision on this stunning motorboat in Plymouth.

Our fully mobile team undertook the repair whilst the boat remained in the water, delivering a seamless finish while minimising downtime, reducing costs and allowing the owner to continue enjoying the boat during this fantastic weather.

Achieving the perfect colour match required a skilled eye, multiple pigments and careful adjustments to replicate the existing finish exactly. It’s this attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship that sets our work apart.

Final topcoat applied by the team on this 50ft refit at our Plymouth Yacht Haven site.

The preparation has truly paid off. All hands were on deck for the final pass, once again completed by the traditional roller and tipping method, with heat, humidity and application conditions carefully monitored and regulated throughout.

She’ll now cure over the weekend, ready for the next stage on Monday.

A mammoth Coppercoat application is well underway on this Super Comfort 50 at our Plymouth Yacht Haven site.

From conception through to completion, we cover all aspects of your marine requirements.

This hull has been shot blasted, filled and faired, then epoxy primed to the required micron thickness before our team expertly applied the Coppercoat system.

She’s now curing before the final activation process.

Another major milestone reached on what is proving to be one serious refit.

A major refit begins… and this one is set to be quite a transformation.

The next one lifted at our Plymouth Yacht Haven site — this stunning Najad 505 has been with us for some time and is now entering a comprehensive refit with NBYR.

First up, the underwater hull is being blasted to remove the existing coating, preparing the surface for a full Coppercoat application.

She’ll then move into the hangar as the project really gets underway, with the scope including teak deck refurbishment, new through-hulls, pipework, detailing, joinery — and plenty more along the way.

A substantial project, bringing multiple marine trades together under one roof, with NBYR managing the process from start to finish.

Another milestone achieved on the Van der Valk Super Comfort 50.

After extensive filling, fairing and priming, the first topcoat of Epithanes polyurethane has now been applied using the traditional rolling and tipping technique.

What a transformation. It’s great to finally see the superstructure brought together in one colour.

Four coats in total will be applied to achieve the required finish and protection.

The decks are next, EVO decking with dry fitting and final shaping commencing early next week.

The transformation is real.

Another beautiful Swan arrives at our Yacht Haven Quay site.

This one has travelled all the way from Guernsey to Plymouth for our specialist marine decking services.

Following lengthy discussions and a detailed assessment of the existing teak decks, it was determined that full replacement was the best route forward. The client chose EVO decking in Classic Hybrid, providing the realistic appearance of teak while staying perfectly in keeping with this stunning yacht’s aesthetics.

She’s now safely into our facilities, scaffolding is erected and the removal of the existing deck is underway.

And this is where the transformation begins…

Another major milestone reached on the Vanderbilt Super Comfort 50

It’s been a long time coming, but this major refit has now reached another significant stage ,the topsides are painted.

Finished in Awlcraft 3000 – Aqua Mist, the transformation from what we recieved is quite remarkable.

Mammoth levels of filling, fairing and preparation have gone into achieving the standards required, with every detail receiving the attention it deserves. All stainless-steel rubbing bands were carefully removed, refurbished by DB Fabs and refitted prior to priming and painting.

We’re delighted with the result and, more importantly, so is our client.

But there’s plenty more to come…
