Had a few steering dampers to work through this week…

Nice Ohlins for a Fireblade project someone is working through. Fresh stickers will be worth a good few seconds on track 🏍️💨

The 3 Toby dampers are actually from a light aircraft, we have supplied a few of these to owners as the design of the plane has a tendency to damage them if there is a hard landing 🛬

Of the 3, only 2 could be repaired, the amount of parts replaced is always a surprise! Last photo is all that’s gone in the bin from the 3.

First time we have ever run a camera on any of the bikes…obviously you know what’s gonna happen 🤔

Worrying, (and embarrassingly) we had quite a serious leak from the left fork leg, enough to cover the front tyre and also the rear resulting in a warning slide before completely letting go

Turns out when assembled, the thread lock on both of the stanchions wasn’t on the thread at all so may as well not have been there. The left stanchion twisted itself off enough to dump all the oil, the right was close too doing the same

Luckily, only a small knock and was the slowest part of the circuit. 2 turns later and it would have been flat in 4th 😳

Certainly not something you’d find as a problem on any of the big manufactures forks. But I know if we ever replace these on the pit bike, anything new will be fully striped and checked before going anywhere near the bike

Missed 1 session, but were able to fix both correctly, fill with fresh fluid and get back out ☀️🇪🇸🏁

We spotted casually letting his spindle sit in the Spanish dust during a tyre change after 2 hard days at CIRCUITO DE JEREZ (oficial) and needed to intervene….No Limits Trackdays instructors need to lead by example 💪

Paddock Pal Uk got his shaft off the dusty mat and surely contributed to the following days lap times 🏍️💨🏁

No Limits Trackdays Jerez 3 day event just finished 🇪🇸☀️

Great to be back on a Spanish event and catching up with everyone in the paddock again. Busy few days for us….

Set-ups helped some to set PB’s, others to dial in new to them bikes and a few mechanical issues assisted with along the way too. One of the riders, after a few tweaks had the feel from the front to get their elbow down for the first time 👏🤟
