Hey guys. A good few years ago I tuned a Kawasaki ZX10R race bike for a chap called Simon. It was previously “tuned” by a company that I had reservations about and sure enough after strapping the bike on the Dyno, it was apparent the tune was completed with the confidence of someone who did not understand the assignment 😅😅

Anyway, back then Simon was setting up motorcycle suspension and due to me being constantly busy, I was recommending my customers to him for setups.

Ok everyone just calm down …. 🤣

I’ve been inundated with messages and calls. I really appreciate the comments and best wishes regarding my recent post. ❤️

Just to put everyone’s mind at ease. I’m still at the shop with no immediate plans to disappear into the sunset. 🌅

Should the time come I will still very likely be a part of the furniture and a familiar face at the shop. I will keep you all updated. So please don’t panic 😆

That said , as always I get booked up in advance so as in previous years. Please book those mots/services in with lots of notice.

Happy new year to you all! I hope 2026 is everything you hope for and more!

Seventeen years ago this July, Crispy’s Motorcycles was born. With zero investment and humble beginnings, working from a garden shed, later moving into two different units. Since then I have seen and done so much! Highs/lows, stresses/strains, advancements in motorcycle technology and apprentices who have come and gone.

It certainly has had its challenges but I am incredibly proud of what I have accomplished.

I was never chasing money or interested in growing too big or corporate and always tried to put customers first with a personal touch.

I always said that I would take a step back when I’m 50 years old.. and just like that.. in a blink of an eye… 2026 will see me celebrate my 50th birthday!

There’s a whole world out there and I don’t want to be too old to miss it! So... to that end.. I am officially putting the feelers out there to anybody interested in buying the business as an ongoing concern. I feel the time is right for me to move on to another chapter.

Ramps, MOT brake tester, tyre machine, Motorcycle rolling road Dyno, Woolich Racing equipment etc are all included and I will be available for support, offering all my years of experience and knowledge. 🧠

I know this post is a little unconventional, but then so am I! I’d rather reach out to the people who know me personally before casting the net wider.

What a Christmas cracker 🎄!

Brand new 2025 Honda CBR 1000RR-R, run in on the Dyno then mapped producing just shy of a staggering 230 bhp to the rear wheel with a ridiculously linear power curve. 🥵🥵

I’m out of the shop now enjoying a chilled festive break, but I’ll be back some time in January depending on how many mince pies and single malts I’ve consumed. 🥴

I’ve not had chance to post much recently, but I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my loyal customers and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!

Annnnnd another Yamaha MT 10! Decat pipe fitted with the original end can. These bikes simply must be remapped to get the best from them after these mods as they run horribly lean with big holes in the power delivery. All setup now running smooth with great horsepower gains to boot! 🙌🏻☄️

I’m a bit partial to these bikes in this retro paint scheme. Now fully remapped and putting out silly bhp numbers to the rear tyre too 😋

Not the first time I’ve seen this, but the first time seeing it in person! Customer complained of running issues and despite it being very low miles, wanted a full service. This is what I found 🤯🐭😆

This GSXR 750 track bike has been in for some routine maintenance and setup on the Dyno.

Huge gains after getting to the bottom of an issue which has been significantly knocking off bhp numbers for who knows how long 🤷🏻‍♂️

What a different bike this will be on track 😳

Any ideas what the issue was?? 🕵🏻‍♂️

Brand new MT 09 SP in the shop from Yamaha and fitted with a full Akra system.

Fuelling was surprisingly good at wide open throttle, but horribly lean at part throttle and not at all happy since the cat was removed.

Now fully run in on the Dyno with a custom ECU remap and making good power like it should ❤️💥
