It's International Women's Day so we thought we would talk about one of the inspirational women in motoring history: Canadian explorer, Aloha Wanderwell.

Aloha had many achievements in her life, one of which was being the first women to drive around the world in a car!

"I’m in my 10th year at Vospers, I started in Peugeot new and used sales, followed by a short stint in Ford used before joining the Ford New sales team which I’ve been in for 5 years. When I started in car sales 17years ago at Rodgers I was the first female sales executive they had. The male sales team thought they would have to change however I soon told them to treat me the same as I didn’t want any special treatment or for them to change the way the behaved in the work environment.
When I joined Vospers there were a number of female sales executives, some of the best sellers in Ford were female. Nikki and Erica were very highly thought of and their customers still ask after them on a regular basis.

I think it’s a great industry to work in especially if you have a love of cars." Sue
