DAY 4 - Largs POW 2026 Classic Race..

And the winner was, Yep our one and only "K613 Mordicus" an Uffa Fox Designs I14 from 1952.. Her second win in the Classic POW class, the first being 1952 so some years after the first.

Massive thankyou goes to "everyone" involved in restoring, painstakingly varnishing, looking after her and sailing her on the day- Andy Bates and Everett McAvoy all the way from the yep Hawaii who had the pleasure of chartering her on her first sail in quite some years.

Thanks to for putting on the event, Karen & Paul for their efforts in taking care of everyone and all the other participants (Wooden & Plastic) that made even my own first race experience, a bit more bearable..

Day 2 Largs- We also have in this gorgeous setting another of our felly restored ready to race International 14's, "Goshawk" a 1931 Morgan Giles K254.

Pop down and see her, charter her for a race or two and once and for all see who was the better designer- or .

Our mission is to save the classic I14 class for future generations, we currently have 12 other boats that need restoring so with help from those who charter the current available boats we can keep up the work we do.

Day 2 Largs- We have more pics of "Mordicus" and other amazing looking boats out on the water...

For those that don't know "Mordicus" K613 is a Prince of Wales winner from the first year she was built in 1952 by the legend that is Uffa Fox...

Fully restored by us "the Classic Boat Company" and being chartered by one of the biggest characters involved in the International 14 fleet..

Amazing to see her back on the water getting ready to compete for this years POW race. And you never know, WIN it how amazing that would be 74yrs later.
