Our Autumnal decor is complete following the generous gifting of Allerston Craft Group’s Corn Dollies🤩

Woven from the Stockdale family’s crop fields this year, the wheat and barley straw is traditionally crafted at the end of harvest and then preserved over winter, and symbolically buried in the fields the following spring, to ensure prosperity and abundance for the new crops.

Such intricate designs, the brown ribbon represents the earth and the straw is plaited or braided into figures (Dollie’s).
