Another specialist recovery completed by the AASP team. Incidents like this are a reminder that vehicles can leave the road for many different reasons, and they're not always the fault of the driver.

Oil or diesel spilled by another vehicle, avoiding an oncoming vehicle on the wrong side of the road, sudden mechanical failures, poor weather conditions, debris in the carriageway or even another road user being distracted can all lead to a vehicle ending up where it was never intended to be.

Our job isn't to judge how a vehicle got there, it's simply to recover it safely and help get the road clear again. A big thank you to our team for another professional recovery and to everyone across Cambridgeshire who continues to support local businesses like ours. Stay safe out there. 🚛

🚛 A slightly more adventurous recovery than usual!

Our team was recently called out to recover this vehicle after it had come to rest in some rather dense greenery.

Thankfully, with the right equipment and an experienced team on hand, the vehicle was safely recovered and removed without further issue.

It's a good reminder that no two recovery jobs are ever the same. One day it's a flat battery, the next it's a vehicle trying to become part of the local landscape. 🌳

🚛 Not your average recovery!

Today's job involved transporting this motorhome safely to its destination.

From cars and vans to motorhomes and commercial vehicles, we have the equipment and experience to handle recoveries of all shapes and sizes.

It's not every day you see a motorhome hitching a ride on the back of a recovery truck! 😄

Thanks to everyone who continues to support local businesses like ours across Cambridgeshire.

Motorsport is never about one person. It's a team effort, and this result belongs to everyone who's played a part along the way. A massive well done to Mark, Joel and Mathew in car #462 for bringing home 2nd place after a hard-fought weekend. A great result and one that makes all the late nights, hard work and effort that’s gone into this project worthwhile.

A special mention has to go to Harry Parkes, who made his racing debut at Silverstone this weekend. He did a cracking job throughout. Credit also goes to Gary Parkes, Leon Barrand and the rest of the team for all their efforts over the course of the meeting.

We'd also like to thank Andrew Barrand and Mark Barrand for their continued support, as well as the workshop team who put in countless hours behind the scenes preparing, maintaining and repairing the cars throughout the season. Without them, none of this happens.

And finally, a huge thank you to the local businesses and partners who continue to back what we're doing: .J.Barrand and . Your support means has played a big part in helping get this car and project where it is today.

🚛 One trip, two recoveries.

Not every recovery is as straightforward as collecting a single vehicle. Sometimes a job calls for a bit more planning, the right equipment and a team that knows how to get things done safely.

Our transporter gives us the flexibility to recover multiple vehicles at the same time, helping customers get vehicles moved efficiently while reducing delays and unnecessary journeys.

Whether it's a breakdown, accident recovery, vehicle transport or something a little out of the ordinary, we're always happy to help where we can.

🚛 Even breakdowns happen to the best of us!

We spend our days helping stranded motorists and recovering vehicles across Cambridgeshire, but every now and then one of our own needs a helping hand too.

Despite regular servicing and maintenance, when vehicles are out on the road day in, day out, things can occasionally go wrong. The important thing is getting the issue sorted safely and getting back to doing what we do best.

Thankfully, this one didn't have far to travel! 😄

A good reminder that no matter what you drive, breakdowns can happen when you least expect them.
