If you’re a fully qualified, time-served technician who takes pride in doing a great job, we’d love to hear from you. An MOT Tester qualification would be a bonus, but isn’t essential. We're looking for someone who lives within 20 miles of Perth.

Author Debra Murphy has a pretty special connection with Struans Leisure. After buying her campervan, Evie, from our Perth dealership in 2021, her adventures on the road eventually inspired her to write her very own book, Campervan Capers.

We put Debra through a quick-fire round of questions to find out more about her, her writing and life on the road.

When Debra bought her campervan, Evie, from Struans Leisure Perth in 2021, she probably didn’t realise it would be the start of a whole new adventure… or eventually inspire her to write a book.

Campervan Capers combines Debra’s own experiences of life on the road with funny stories and practical advice for fellow and aspiring campervanners.

In this video, Debra tells us a little more about her love of campervanning and why she chose Struans Leisure when it was time to make her dream of owning a campervan a reality.

From campervan adventures to a book of her own! 📖🚐

When Debra Murphy bought her campervan, Evie, from Struans Leisure Perth in 2021, she set off on a new chapter of adventures with her partner Jim and their Border Collie, Florence.

Those adventures eventually inspired Debra to write Campervan Capers, a new book combining her experiences of life on the road with funny anecdotes and practical advice for fellow and aspiring campervanners.

And now, she’s returning to Struans Leisure Perth for a very special exclusive book signing on Monday 24 August, from 10am to 11am.

As a thank you for Debra’s continued support over the years, we’ve purchased copies of Campervan Capers which we’ll be giving away to a selection of our Leisure and Rental customers in September. ❤️

We’re delighted to be part of Debra’s story, with the Struans Leisure Perth team even making an appearance in the pages of her book!
