KDF Garage Services has been fully up and running since April 2017, time served, qualified vehicle mechanic working very hard to deliver quality repairs to happy customers. Offering general vehicle repairs, diagnostics, servicing, restorations and breakdown recovery at very reasonable rates.

Daves VW T4 camper in for MOT repairs. Quite extensive corrosion uncovered once parts and panels were removed. Inner wings fabricated and replaced, both front outriggers, both front step areas and a rust free front cross member/front panel sourced and fitted.

Now all properly repaired and retested for the MOT. All done and ready to collect.

We were recently approached by Mr B's ice cream company based in Hayle, to carry out some metal repairs to the front end of their MK1 ford transit based ice cream van.

Quite challenging due to the fact that repair panels are no longer available, and all repairs had to be formed by hand.

Along with the metal repairs, the inner wings were prepped, treated and coated with rust buster products in order to preserve the metal from further corrosion.

Big thank you to Trevelyan George at TG welding and fabrication for loaning me some metal shaping equipment to get this job done.

Hello all, it's been over a year since this page was last updated!! The past year has been quite hectic and busy, still can't believe how fast time flies sometmes!

Starting 2022 with a few really cracking examples of classic VW's:

A 1991 mk2 golf came in for a thorough inspection and some minor jobs. In absolutely immaculate condition.

A type 3 notch came in for some pre-sale checks and small repairs to ensure the new owner recieved the vehicle in tip-top condition.

A 1967 Type 2 splitscreen bus, this came in for a new clutch, an engine oil leak, fuel hoses replaced with codan and work to the braking system.

and lastly our new shop truck, a 1995 T4 doka. currently undergoing rust repairs, servicing/timing belts and replacing worn suspension and braking components as necessary.

❄️☃️CHRISTMAS OPENING NOTICE☃️❄️

The garage will be open until Tuesday 22nd December, then closed until Monday 4th January.

It has been mega busy in the weeks running up to Christmas, so will be finishing off jobs on 21st/22nd which are already booked in or close to completion. The mobile phone will be periodically checked during the holiday period 07971 195583, I will do my best to get back to any enquiries.

We'd like to wish all of our customers a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
