Did you know that there are quite a few campsites that remain open all year round here in Wales?

One of those is Moody Meadows located in the heart of Cardigan Bay on the West Wales coast, between the picturesque seaside towns of Aberaeron and New Quay. The access off the main road is excellent and suitable for all types of vehicles, while the site itself is tranquil and secluded, as well as being a haven for all sorts of wildlife.

The level, tree-lined tarmacked site has 93 fully serviced hard-standing pitches. Each pitch has 16 amp electric, its own water tap, grey water and lawn area. For your added luxury, forty of these pitches have their very own private hot tubs, for your exclusive use during your stay.

On top of this, there is a bistro/bar area which is perfect for a hearty meal using local produce and a night cap of locally distilled drinks. They also have an onsite deli to fill up your campervan fridge with your favourite goodies before you head home after a few days of relaxing!

Our VW T28 Highline Camper has ample space for a winter escape and is kitted out with colder months in mind.

With a fixed hard top, it provides extra head height for standing up to cook and dress plus an extra storage area above the front cab for winter clothing.

The front passenger seat swivels to face the rear living space giving additional seating, perfect for dining or playing cards.

The built-in kitchen unit provides a 2-ring hob, running cold water, oven, and undercounter fridge with a small freezer.

The diesel heater can be put on timer to take out the chill in the early hours and just before bed.

Don't let the winter put you off a weekend trip to the mountains or the coast. Our camper will keep you all warm and cosy.

This summer has been nothing short of fantastic and bustling for us at Campervan Escapes Pembrokeshire. The incredible weather has led to a surge in inquiries, and we can only hope that these warm, sunny days will linger a bit longer. It’s been a joy to see so many people eager to explore the great outdoors with us, making the most of the beautiful surroundings.

Our charming little VW camper has embarked on numerous adventures this season, from local getaways in picturesque spots like Bosherston and Pembroke to an exciting journey up to Scotland, where we explored the breathtaking North Coast 500. Each destination has offered unique experiences and stunning landscapes, making every trip memorable and special.

Campervan hire is not just for the summer season! With winter just around the corner why not make the most of the colder months and wake up in the wilderness with just the sound of nature for company.

Look out to views of snow-capped peaks on the Welsh hills and pink clouds. Pop on your thermals, walking boots and woolly hats and get out into the chill of the season. After a brisk walk and with noses kissed by the cold, snuggle into your duvet with a warm cup of coffee whilst the diesel heater keeps the van toasty warm as you disappear into the magic around you.

It may still be mid-August with gorgeous blue skies and warm sunshine, but the chill of autumn is just around the corner.

Autumn is one of the best times to get out exploring in a campervan as the roads are clearer, campsites emptier and park up's not so over-crowded.

Wrap up in a warm high neck jumper and get out amongst the trees with their glorious hues of red, yellow, orange and rusty browns. As the evening draws in, snuggle under a cosy blanket and enjoy watching the stars above with a hot chocolate or your favourite tipple. And when it gets a little nippy, our campervan comes with a diesel heater which takes away the nighttime chill.
