We have more updates.

We can now remap some more of the ZF 9-speed transmission unit found in jaguar and Land Rover cars.

We can now optimize shift times or remove DTCs from the 9HP50 TCU installed on Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles, such as Discovery, Evoque, and E-Pace (produced after 2019).

We have an update and can now remap some more Mercedes automatic gearboxes.

A new protocol to program ZF 8G Tronic VGS3-FDCT automatic transmissions (TCUs) installed on Mercedes vehicles has been released.

For anybody not sure what the difference in different stages of remapping are, below explains a bit about it.


About Remapping
Different types of remapping explained.

Stage 1- Stage 1 Remapping is changing settings and parameters in the vehicles ECU system of the vehicle (ignition, injection,boost.) Stage 1 is 100% reliable, typically more fuel efficient & gives a better performance.

Stage 2- Stage 2 remapping requires parts to be replaced on the car usually an exhaust & air intake/induction kit & intercooler. The better air flow will allow the car to be remapped to run faster so after these parts have been fitted the car is remapped for these modifications. The performance will be noticed straight away. Because we are a mobile service we do not fit the parts and only do the remapping side.

Economy Remaps- Economy remapping is designed to not burn as much fuel as the car does from the factory. Their will be some gains in performance in an economy remap but the main focus is on saving fuel. Up to 10% can be saved at the pump with one of our economy remaps.

DSG & TCU Gearbox Tuning- We have a range of gearbox tuning for BMW TCU (Transmission Control Unit), VAG(Volkswagen, Audi) DSG tuning services and Jaguar Landrover gearbox tuning. Like all our ECU remapping and tuning, each of our gearbox & DSG and TCU tuning files are written specifically for the direct-shift gearbox of your vehicle and you as the driver. With DSG &TCU remapping these are light modifications for the DSG and TCU which can be made to improve shift-speed, responsiveness and smoothness of the gearbox and power delivery. Significant gains in torque delivery can be achieved; track day and sports enthusiast drivers will simply love it. Along with dynamic changes to the amount of allowable slip in the gearbox, changes to the clutch plate pressures and improving the functionality of the entire transmission. These changes are very noticeable – you will really enjoy the way your gear changes will be from now on with our remap.
