Another worlds first 😎

Switchable 2WD/GTI mode is now available as part of our Haldex.Flash software for MQB vehicles.

Use it for spirited driving, dyno testing and BURNOUTS!

On the fly switching can be set to a drive mode of your choosing using nothing but the factory Haldex controller and our software. Once initiated the Haldex system fully shuts down becoming 2WD only.

This works for all gen5 MQB Haldex systems, MK7R, 8V S3, RS3 etc

This is available right now via Haldex.Flash and is a free update for existing customers, simply download the latest version of our app from your user portal.

Late post but we are back at it for 2026! We have been swamped with admin work and development of our Haldex products but hopefully we can keep the content up!

This is all done within our Haldex software and can be flashed no matter your ECU/TCU tune.

We are looking for a head workshop technician to join the team at RRP

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated mechanic who can work independently and efficiently. This role covers a wide range of responsibilities, including:

General servicing and maintenance
Fitting bolt-on performance upgrades
Diagnostics and fault finding
Preparing vehicles for tuning
Working primarily on performance VAG and BMW models as well as other German Luxury vehicles and occasionally exotics.
Requirements

Proven experience in the automotive industry
Recognised qualification in vehicle mechanics (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong hands-on mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Specific experience with German vehicles (VAG and BMW preferred)
Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
Must be comfortable to be part of filming for social media and marketing
Must have their own tools
Full UK driving licence

Another MQB in for our full stage 3 pack featuring an FL530 turbo courtesy of

This 8V S3 is an early 2013 model but in amazing condition thanks to its owner who decided to make the leap from stage 1 straight to stage 3!

The car already had an R600 intake and sports cat so we fitted the FL530 turbo, Direnza MVT intercooler and Vis HPFP upgrade along with a 4 bar map sensor for plenty of room on boost.

The car came to us making an asthmatic 344hp 481nm on an unknown tune which is super weak, it was actually running dangerously with a large amount of ignition re**rd being carried out by the Ecu to try and save itself!

After fitting the upgrades we got the car back on the dyno for a long tuning session to dial everything in, we settled with 499hp and 609nm of torque with a textbook power curve.

We also found the Haldex system was inoperative due to the wrong amount of fluid being added on a service! So we also fixed this making the car all wheel drive again.

So this car came in front wheel drive, less than stage 1 power and in a dangerous state of tune.
Now 155hp and 130nm up on power, full working Haldex + our renowned Haldex tuning carried out, silky smooth power graph and DSG tuning carried out to match.

This is now a very different car 😎
