Today I had a near-miss with a distracted driver a scary reminder of the real risk we take when we take our eyes off the road. Even a second of distraction can lead to serious injury or worse. Let’s all agree to simple steps to stop this behavior: put your phone on Do Not Disturb while driving, set navigation and playlists before you go, use hands-free/voice controls, and if you must text or call, pull over safely. Lead by example and remind friends and family to do the same.

Life has priority — everything else can wait!! Let’s keep our roads safe for everyone.
