To start a beautiful, Personal Favourite car so to speak! Peugeot 106 GTI in for some repair and general maintenance work. Customer advised hearing a vibration from the engine bay! Diagnosed as a snapped bolt in the engine mount, we replaced the mount along with the bolt and the issue was rectified. We also carried out all the MOT advisory work, including Front & Rear Discs & Pads, Drivers front wheel bearing, track rod ends and tracking to ensure this classic French hot hatch was ready for some spirited use 😍👌🏻

Next we had a dependable FORD Transit. Customer advised an overheating issue, diagnosed as a faulty thermostat, preventing the coolant from circulating around the system correctly. Using dealer level knowledge, we were aware of a upgraded part for this issue, so we supplied & fitted an upgraded thermostat with housing, refreshed the coolant and this work horse was ready for work again😁

From Large to little, Vauxhall VIVA in for an ABS fault. Diagnosed as a Rear ABS Sensor, we supplied and fitted a Genuine VAUXHALL part ensuring the highest the quality for this vehicle, issue rectified and another happy customer!

And finally a very well presented FORD KUGA. Using only the highest quality of MANN Filters to ensure the maintenance isn’t to be let down by poor quality parts! We carried out a major service consisting of Oil + Oil Filter change, Air Filter change, Pollen Filter change & Fuel filter change. We always add a fuel cleaner treatment when carrying out fuel filters as well as an internal anti-bacterial mist when replacing the pollen filters, ensuring a safe breathing environment for not just your vehicle but for you too, are valued customers!😁

Colder temperatures aren’t friendly to your vehicles, here’s a little list of how the key yet sometimes overlooked components on your vehicle help keep your vehicle happy and safe!

Dirty oils in your engine can get thicker and cause damage to the internals of the engine, even more so on the Ford Ecoboost engines which in some cases can cause engine failure!

Old brake fluid can contain higher water content, reducing brake performance and can damage the brake lines which stop your vehicle!

Dirty air filters mean your car cannot breathe how it was intended, resulting in reducing fuel economy and performance, and in some cases can be fatal for an engine if not changed.

Dirty fuel filters allow moisture into the fuel system, particularly in diesel engines. This can cause poor starting and running of your vehicle, as well as reduced performance and fuel efficiency.

To start a lovely Little Toyota Aygo with no drive, diagnosing the vehicle to have a worn out clutch it was easy to see why! Replacing the clutch with a high quality LUK Clutch Kit and this little Japanese city car was ready to hit the road ahead.

Next we had a Peugeot 207 that had failed its MOT. This was no issue as we breezed through the items to get this French machine passed and back on the road😁

And finally a couple of services on some impressive machines to maintain them ahead of the winter! Firstly a lovely BMW X1 for an Oil + Oil Filter Service along with an Air Filter change, using only the highest quality filters of MANN Filters to ensure the maintenance isn’t to be let down by poor quality parts!

This was also the case for the Nissan Navara which just like the BMW received the highest quality MANN Filters as this work horse got a much loved Oil + Oil Filter change as well as an Air Filter and some new front brake pads to keep this vehicle happy,healthy and doing its job😁

Starting with a beautiful Citroen DS5 which had developed a leak from the engine bay. After diagnosing the leak and finding a split coolant hose, a genuine Citroen part was supplied & fitted. Finished off with some fresh coolant and this rare French car was ready for the road again😁

Next we had this Lovely Toyota RAV4 with a hesitation when accelerating. Diagnosed as the fuel filter being that of a poor quality and not allowing the diesel injectors the fuel they craved. Replacing the filter with a high Quality MANN FILTER, and adding some cleaning additive into both the filter & the tank, this RAV4 was back to its very best👌🏻

And Finally this Ford B-Max that’s day job is collecting Dogs to get their hair groomed 🐕 This vehicle also didn’t like accelerating, or more so allowing that acceleration to the driven wheels. Diagnosed to be a slipping clutch it’s clear to see why this was the case! After 130,000 miles this clutch had simply given up! Replaced with a high quality LUK Clutch and Slave Cylinder, this Ford was ready to get back to work and collect many more pups in need a hair cut😁

Just a couple of the jobs we have been carrying out both mobile & in-house over the last few weeks

To start this beautiful Alfa Romeo MITO that was needing some love with its Italian Heart. Customer wasn’t sure when it was last serviced, and luckily for this customer they reached out in time! The oil filter was heavily corroded but had luckily not leaked. A fresh oil filter and a change of oil and this Italian hatchback was ready to roar again!😁

We had this lovely little Polo in for a brake fluid leak and no brake pedal. Diagnosed to be the rear Brake Cylinder seals breaking down and causing a serous leak! Luckily for this customer there vehicle was back up and running within the day, we advised this customer to have both the rears replaced to prevent this issue occurring again, new set of rear brake cylinders and some fresh brake fluid and this polo was ready for the road again👌🏻

And finally a little Citroen Birlingo van, used for trips away with the kids, or at least it was going to be! Unfortunately the bearing inside the gearbox had other ideas. Not to worry, here at HAI we made sure this family bus didn’t ruin any family plans, new clutch and bearing supplied and fitted within the day, this family’s trips would not be spoiled👌🏻
