Helix Passat maintenance day.
In between customer jobs, we’ve been giving one of our own workhorses some overdue attention.
Since bringing the Helix Passat into service, the air conditioning has never worked. In normal weather it was manageable, but with this heatwave it finally became too much to ignore.
Diagnosis pointed us towards the condenser, so we ordered a replacement, got it fitted, and started working through the checks properly rather than just throwing gas in and hoping for the best.
It is easy to forget that the vehicles we rely on every day need the same level of care and attention we give to customer cars.
A bit of downtime put to good use.
