We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and Boxing Day, we are taking some time off to spend with family and have a little rest. The garage is closed and will reopen on Monday 5th January and calls and messages will be answered then.

After our last post we’re curious how many others have worked in our garage in years gone by!

Celebratory Lunch! 🍕 🥗 🍰

Today we enjoyed lunch in the sunshine to celebrate 50 years exactly since Marty Monteith (second left) started his apprenticeship in our garage at Doogary, then owned by Trevor’s Grandad, Henry Kennedy.

Marty has lived in Toronto, Canada for many years with his wife, Lorraine (left) and family, where he ran his own very successful body repair workshops and is now enjoying a well earned retirement.

We are delighted that Marty and Lorraine decided to celebrate this special anniversary with us after all these years, during their visit back to Ireland.

Thank-you also to David Marshall (neighbour), Conor and Ferdia (our current mechanics), Ivor Kennedy (Uncle and previous business owner at Doogary), Arlene and David (Mum and Dad) for being here to celebrate with us. (Pictured left to right)

We are proud to be the successors of many years of business and workmanship, and we hope to continue to make history, look after our customers and offer employment for many years to come.
