We are just a few weeks away until this year's event - here's a reminder of who's taking the stage at The Bell & Bear Summer Festival!

Our monthly Open Mic Night is back with a bang tomorrow night (Wednesday), after a brief sojourn last month.

This does mean, we've taken the decision to not show England's first World Cup game. We know we can't please everyone, but Open Mic is a big part of what makes The Bell & Bear a proper community pub, giving local musicians and performers a space to come together, share a few songs, and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends.

The Village Kitchen will also be serving dinner between 6pm and 7:30pm, so come down, grab a bite, enjoy a drink, and support a brilliant local night.

It's a busy, busy one! Wednesday is night from 7:30pm and Wednesday we have (this month's book is The Eights by Joanna Miller).

Food wise The Village Kitchen Emberton are with us this week, with supper during Open Mic Night, and Breakfast & Dinner on Saturday. And Sunday is Father's Day, so we've got a BBQ + a free pint for the Dads. But that's not all. Thursday is Sizzlers Street Food Burger Night and Saturday we have We Will Wok You - that's some week!

Tomorrow night we've got the fabulous Georgia Conway Music live in the pub from 8pm. She will be singing a mix of acoustic pop covers, classic favourites and party anthems. Village Kitchen Emberton are back this weekend with a great selection of menu options for you throughout. And on Saturday evening, we also have live music with Georgia Conway Music , bringing you a mix of acoustic pop songs, classic favourites and party anthems.

Big news for our food truck family!

After months of working closely with Milton Keynes City Council, we’re proud to now have an umbrella street trading permission in place at The Bell & Bear.

This means food trucks and traders can now operate under our licence, making it simpler, fairer, and more affordable to trade from the highway than through the standard process.

And with that… we’re officially opening our doors to new trucks!

We’ve already got pizza, Asian street food, curries, burgers, wings, and fish & chips covered — so we’re on the lookout for something a little different to complete the lineup.
