Throwing spanners bright and early today!
Picked up on the annual service this great HB506 had succumbed to pot holes and smashed its front leaf springs causing a severe breakage.

With trailer thefts on the increase nationwide, this was a fantastic result.

We urge all our customers to register their trailer with the manufacturer, The Equipment Register and take photos in and under and around to ensure the trailer can be recognised in the event of a theft.

If you’re looking at buying a trailer, run the checks through TER, to save yourself thousands if the trailer is in fact stolen.

Did you know we supply a multitude of security devices. From padlocks and chains to hitch locks and wheel clamps, all from a variety of manufacturers.

Don’t make it difficult for thieves, make it impossible!

With all vehicles and trailers, recognising unusual noises is part and parcel of ownership. However recognising faults prior to failure is crucial to avoid substantial bills.

Routine servicing allows us, and the owner, to build a good record of work required and allows our customers to budget before anything becomes too urgent.

Today’s HB510 is a perfect example of catching this fault early. We made our advisories on its last service and we’re able to action that advisory this time round.

It’s nearly there… spring that is…

I’m holding out hope, that March will be warm and sunny!

We’ve been super busy since Christmas, from workshop refurbishments, too onsite servicing. It’s still wet, dark and coming in cold so we’re seeing the normal lighting issues associated with corrosion and wet weather. If you have an issue, drop us a call and we’ll always try to problem solve over the phone first and if you really need us we’re there.

Hang on in there everyone, spring is round the corner!!!

We’ve a major power outage at the workshop today. The car park now has a big hole in it aswell. Great guys from National Grid, working super hard to get us back online, but unfortunately we’ve had to close.

North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team out doing an amazing job in East Devon with their swift water rescue trailer (which we look after). Did you know that they receive no funding from government level and rely solely on donations and the volunteers that provide 24/365 cover, keeping us all safe on the moor and as you can see in this video in the rest of Devon too. A fantastic organisation providing a critical service.

It’s January, and that means “IM BACKKKK”!!!
New and improved (quite literally) and champing at the bit to get back on the tools.

We have a bit of a back log with routine servicing and repairs, however we’ll be at the workshop and on the road as much as possible.

We also have a big restock, due in mid January, which will top up the shelves for you all, should you need to drop in and collect.

I’m not sure how it’s nearly December, but we’re operating more frequently from the workshop now, for all your parts needs.

The service truck has had some work done and my recovery is now heading in the right direction, so all being well, we will be back to catering for all your parts and servicing needs in the new year.
