A friendly reminder not to let your Land Rover Defender get to this point.

As a Defender enthusiast, and a previous owner of a 1992 Defender 90 (the amount of welding it needed is probaby what got me interested in rust proofing), it's always sad to see them in this state.

You just need to have a quick look through any car sales sites to see how these hold their value when well maintained, so it makes sense to do all you can to extend the life of the chassis and bodywork.

A clear rust proofing coat for this brand new Ford Puma.

Prevention is better than cure when it comes to rust. If you are planning on keeping a vehicle for a long time this will; keep the underside looking new, make maintenance easier as it will prevent bolts and fixings rusting therefore becoming stuck, and ultimately save money on future welding.

One of our black lanolin based coatings conpleted on a 14 plate Insignia.

Although not as prone to rust as a lot of pickup trucks or ladder frame 4x4s, it was still starting to look abit worse for wear, and this will definitely help mitigate any corrosion issues in the future.

Before and after on a recent job on a 2005 vauxhall combo that was booked in due to corrosion advisories on its recent mot.

A lot of loose rust was removed from this one before the coating was applied, and it's definitely looking better.
