Performance Action Day is happening at Castle Combe Circuit this Saturday, 26th September! 🏎️💨

There’ll be hundreds of stunning cars, autograss demonstrations including our very own Ken Ken stunt displays, special displays, free dodgems and loads more — so there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained! 🙌

🏁 2026 Ladies’ and Juniors’ National Championships 🏁

Congratulations to Michelle Ellis (S33D), who qualified for the Class 5 Final and secured a fantastic third-place finish! 🏆

A huge well done to Levi Phipps (S14D), who battled hard throughout the weekend and qualified for the Junior F600 Final. It was a lively, hard-fought race, with positions changing right up to the chequered flag! 🏁

Well done to Emilie Seer (S41D), who achieved some brilliant results in Class 8. Unfortunately, with it being one of the most competitive classes, she narrowly missed out on progressing to the final after having to count a non finish in her first heat💨

In the Junior Saloons, ten-year-old Guy Ellis (S4D) made his first-ever appearance at a National Championship. He enjoyed some great races and gained plenty of valuable experience! 🏁 Guy shared the car with his mum, Michelle Ellis, who raced it in Class 1 alongside competing in Class 5. Unfortunately, Michelle narrowly missed out on a place in the Class 1 semi-finals 👏

Last, but by no means least, William Tull (S15D) raced hard all weekend in his Mini in the Junior Saloons. Unfortunately, his weekend ended with William going topsy-turvy! 😵‍💫 Thankfully, he was shaken but unscathed, and we have no doubt that he’ll be back out racing very soon! 💪🏻

A massive well done to all of our drivers—you did the club proud! 👏🏁

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Anns 🪽

Martin was a huge part of Autograss over many years, leaving his mark on the sport as a multiple National Champion and a fierce competitor who was always a top contender, whatever he was driving.

His first National success came in Bredon Hill yellow and blue, before he went on to achieve even greater success wearing Stroud’s famous red and blue.

Known as “The Flying Undertaker”, Martin took the Class 9 National title as B44H in 1981. After changing clubs and classes over the following years, he eventually settled into Class 10, where he would return to the top step of the Nationals podium, claiming back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995. Throughout his years in the sport, no matter what class or car he was in, Martin was someone you always knew would be there fighting at the front.

Beyond the trophies and championships, Martin was a much-loved and respected member of the Autograss family. He was a member of both Bredon Hill Autograss and Stroud Autograss Clubs, and his contribution to the sport will be remembered by so many.

Our thoughts are with Martin’s family, friends and everyone who knew him at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest in peace, Martin. 🏁
