Sometimes things are short and sweet.

Coming across to Southampton just last week to prepare for his test we did an intensive 5 days to make sure George was safe on the road and ready for a test at the Maybush centre. The work payed off and today we got a first time pass with just 2 minor faults for his full Uk licence.

A little over a year ago Joe was the person I took to my test to pass as an ADI and he did a fantastic job so I couldn't be happier to have helped him achieve a first time pass with just 5 minors

You know things have gone well when you are sitting outside the test centre, enjoying the weather and you see your car come back with relaxed smiling faces. Step into the car and the examiner just Calmly asks Katie how she thinks she's done because they have nothing to talk to her about.

A perfect drive from Katie on her first attempt with just 1 pesky minor fault for a position adjustment on her manoeuvre. I told you all along, you just needed to believe in yourself and now you've got a driving licence that tells you somebody else believes in you as well. Congratulations on your result today, so diligent in how you've approached this and fully deserved, couldn't be happier for how this can help you and your family.

No more looking for safe cycle and walking routes for Calum here as he smashed the second attempt at his driving test passing with only 3 minors. Not much to fix after his first effort but the time was obviously well spent as we also had a significant reduction in minor faults from the first time so there is no 'Stopping' him now

So pleased today for Ashley, we've spent quite a long time working together to get this moment. Being one of my earliest learners and after taking a year out for her expanding family we celebrated today with a second time pass with just 5 minors.

Another first time pass 🥳🎉🥳🎉

I think Ruben is far too laid back to have a proper sibling rivalry going on but I have sneaky feeling he's going to be lording it over other family members with his first time pass with just 2 minor faults when learning to drive gets brought up at family events.

Congratulations on a great drive, stay safe out there on the roads

Having put his test back a few weeks, Ruben is a great example of how working together as ADI's to put the right person in the right test slot at the right time is in everyones best interests. Despite recent changes to test bookings we will still be doing the best for our pupils, working together to ensure we are doing the right things to keep them and everyone else safe on the roads. Waiting for your driving test is really rubbish sometimes, all you can do is wait patiently and take your opportunity when it comes.

This is exactly what Charlotte here had to do and she has been rewarded with a first time pass with only 3 minors.

Congratulations for this fantastic result, thanks for having me tag along, enjoy telling family and friends and take care out there on the road.
