We are pleased to announce that we can now collect and deliver customers vehicles (within reason) as an additional service. These are some of the vehicles we have collected for customers this week as they couldn't be driven due to various mechanical faults.

The last couple of weeks have seen a large variety of vehicles come to us for a variety of reasons.

Sadly we didn't get pictures of them all but here's some of what we did take.

We had a couple of vans in. The Citroen came in with a locked up gearbox and required a replacement along with a clutch. The Es**rt van came in for a quote on welding, a service and tidying up the paintwork around the rear arches. The Skyline came in for a full mechanical check, a couple of leaks from the coolant system and power steering system, centralising of the steering rack as it was wrong, a wash and hand polish ready for its new owner.

Here is a job we had in over the weekend.

A local private Ambulance company asked us if we could tidy up the paintwork as it had failed and was flaking off whenever they washed the vehicle.

We've recently had this MK2 Golf in that had a long list of jobs. Someone originally started to build it as a track car with a 2.0 16v engine using motorbike carbs but before they could finish it they lost heart and sold it. The new owner wanted all the little flaws fixing.

We've setup the bike carbs properly, removed and fixed a rust patch on the lower door, new wheels and tires, fitted the correct GTi grille, a new set of fog lights, a new lower valance and side skirts as well as going over the whole car to ensure everything is safe to use as a road and track car.

Happy New Year everyone.

Over the festive period we remained open to keep people on the road and here are some of the cars we've had the pleasure keeping on the road for customers.

BMW M140i - this came in for a wheel bearing replacement.

Golf GTi MK7 40 year Anniversary - this came in with an imbalance on the front brakes and a suspicious noise coming from the suspension.

Golf GTi MK2 16v - this came in for quite a few jobs, a full check over to ensure it's safe and ready for the road, a few cosmetic pieces, welding and respraying a damaged/rusty door and a few other little bits which we are working through for the customer.

This week amongst other jobs we have had the pleasure of working on a new customers pride and joy, their VW MK2 GTi came in for a timing belt change, gearbox change (which turned into a conversion for a more modern gearbox) and getting it to start and run again due to a fuel pump issue. We also gave it a general check over to make sure it was ready for the road and a wash so it would look its best on the road. The customer arrived very excited and very happy as they hadn't driven the car in a while.

Window tints - from windscreen sunstrips to full vehicle tints. As winter starts to close in and the sun starts to get lower it severely obstructs vision which can be helped with the installation of a tinted sun strip. Prices start @ £40

Mechanical services - from vehicle mechanical checks to major mechanical work. If you're looking for peace of mind that your vehicle will be safe going through winter or if your vehicle requires any mechanical work.

We can also offer a second opinion on any work if you feel as if you may be given a false diagnosis elsewhere.
