They look pretty, but wet leaves on the road can be as slippery as ice! As we head into autumn, this reminds you to adjust your driving.

• Increase Distance: Wet leaves reduce tyre traction, making your stopping distance much longer. Double it if it’s raining!

• Watch for Potholes: Leaves are masters of disguise; they can easily hide deep potholes that could damage your wheels or suspension.

• Steer Gently: If you hit a slippery patch, ease off the accelerator and steer gently. Avoid harsh braking.

Is your car "clunking" over bumps? Those could be worn suspension bushings. Let our team take a look before the wet weather gets worse.

Traffic Jams + 25°C Heat = Trouble for your Cooling System. 🌡️🛑

When you’re moving, air flows through your radiator to cool the engine. When you’re stuck in a queue on the A444, your car relies entirely on its Electric Cooling Fan. 🌬️⚙️

If that fan isn't kicking in, your engine can overheat in minutes. 📉🔥

Top Tip: If you see your needle rising while stationary, turn your HEATER to maximum and open the windows. It sounds crazy in July, but it pulls heat away from the engine! 🥵✅

The evenings are officially drawing in! With more driving in the dark, your lights are your most important safety feature. This , don't wait for a warning—give your lights a "once-over."

• The Full Sweep: Check your headlights (dipped and main), brake lights, indicators, fog lights, and even your number plate lights.

• Clean the Lenses: Dirt and road film significantly reduce brightness. A quick wipe of the lenses can make a huge difference in your visibility!

• Look for Dimming: If your bulbs look yellow or flickery, they are likely nearing the end of their life.

Top Tip: Many modern cars make changing a bulb tricky. If you’re struggling, stop by the centre—we can get you sorted in minutes!
