"I chose KC Driving because of its strong positive reviews, proximity to the test centre I booked with, and availability for lessons to suit the window of time I had before my exam. I also chose them because I felt the price for the 2-hour lessons was a really good value compared to other schools I had looked at.
Customer service was excellent. I first spoke with Keith over email who took the time to answer all my questions. I then booked my initial lesson with the help of the office staff who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to speak with. The booking process was clear and concise. Communication from the school about upcoming lessons, etc. was always very timely and thorough.
I would absolutely recommend KC Driving School to anyone who is looking for help preparing for the driving test. I came in having quite a lot of years' experience driving in America, but very little in the UK. My instructor Maz had previous experience teaching drivers who were used to driving on the right-hand side of the road. There is a massive learning curve to it and I felt Maz really helped me get comfortable and gain confidence driving on UK roads. Whether you're a brand-new driver learning for the first time or already have driving experience and just need to prepare for the practical exam, I strongly feel KC Driving School will help you achieve your goals.
My instructor Maz was very patient, calm, and friendly. He was always on time, his car was always immaculate, and he was very professional. What I also appreciated about his teaching style was he made the most of the 2-hour lessons. He didn't spend too much time over-explaining or trying to decide what to do next. He was very organised with the lessons, always had a plan for what we would be covering, and always asked for my input on what I would like to revisit or spend time working on. There was never a moment wasted in the lesson which I really appreciated. Our lessons always started and ended on time. He was very organised and structured the lessons well. Even the 1-hour lesson before my exam he made the most of the time but still got to the test centre with a few minutes to spare which I was thankful for because I didn't feel rushed.
It is worth nothing that Maz's car was very clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and safe to drive. I appreciated this as a student using someone else's car. It's important that the car you are learning in feels safe and reliable. I appreciated the high standards of the maintenance of the vehicle itself".
