Back to business after a couple of weeks away, and straight into the deep end. This is possibly the biggest shipment we’ve ever had arrive in one hit!

A total of 28 fresh imports landed at the docks. It’s been an incredibly busy few days collecting and processing them, but we never shy away from a challenge.

10 of these vehicles were already reserved while in transit. Our website has now been fully updated and organised with the latest arrivals. On top of that, we’ve also added another 15 vehicles to stock that are currently on their way from Japan.

We had the opportunity to take our Toyota Crown Athlete V out of storage for the first time in two years, so we made the most of it and captured a few quick shots before it was tucked away again.

We originally purchased the vehicle in March 2021, from a small auction house without inspection. A calculated risk that quickly proved worthwhile when our team in Japan collected it in person.

The car has been built to an exceptionally high standard, featuring high end parts from the likes of Stancenation, 326 Power, and T-Demand, and finished with a stunning two-tone paintjob. Having covered just 55k genuine miles we discovered that this was previously a grade 4.5 example, originally factory black exterior and interior. The spec that everybody wants.

It remains one of our personal favourites, perfectly balanced between aggressive styling and unmistakable presence, complemented by the distinctive sound and flutters from the legendary 1JZ-GTE.

Values of these have risen significantly in Japan in recent years, with prices having doubled, if not tripled, which has made it increasingly difficult to import these into the UK. For that reason, we’ve been reluctant to part with it, and it will remain in our collection for the foreseeable future.
