Another fantastic day yesterday at the Ilkeston Heritage & Classic Car Show. Larklands had 6 vehicles on display & it was a thoroughly enjoyed day speaking to like-minded modern & classic car enthusiasts. We were fortunate enough to be awarded 'Best Car In Show' by Erewash Sound on our 1968 Series 1.5 Jaguar E-Type.

Larklands were also responsible for handing out the 'concours' award for the best paintwork in show which was awarded to a flawless Ford Es**rt RS1600i & the runner-up prize which was awarded to a Lambretta LI 175.

The show continues to grow year on year & we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2027!

A fourth Bodyshop of the Year Award for Larklands 🏆

This Wednesday Sam & Ethan from Larklands once again attended the annual British Bodyshop Awards in Manchester. For the third year running & fourth in total Larklands has won not only the regional Jaguar Land Rover Bodyshop of the Year Award, but also the National Jaguar Land Rover Bodyshop of the Year Award.

Well done to everyone involved, a fantastic milestone for the whole team! ✨️

Check out the before and after results from repairs carried out on this all-new Range Rover Sport. Unfortunately, the vehicle was involved in an accident which caused significant damage along the passenger side.

As a Jaguar Land Rover Authorised Repairer, every stage of the repair was completed to exact manufacturer standards. This ensures that all existing vehicle warranties remain fully intact and the car is restored exactly as intended by the manufacturer.

For added peace of mind, Larklands also provides a Lifetime Repair Guarantee on all completed work.

Although the customer is based in the north of Sheffield, they chose Larklands as their repairer of choice because they wanted their vehicle repaired by an authorised repair centre they could trust.

🚗✨ Take a look at the before & after photos of this stunning Rover Mini Cooper Sport, recently completed with a full exterior restoration at Larklands!

This Mini has been in the family for many years and holds tremendous sentimental value for its owner. After standing on a driveway for three years, it was ready for some well-deserved care and attention, and we were proud to bring it back to life.

The car received a complete exterior refinish along with a full service, ensuring it not only looks incredible but is ready for the road once again. The client was invited in at key stages throughout the process to check on progress, making sure every expectation was met along the way.

Now freshly restored, supplied with 12 months MOT, and handed back just in time for summer, this iconic Mini is ready to be enjoyed once more, and to take pride of place in its new garaged home at the client’s recently acquired property.

Check out this stunning Land Rover Defender 110 Hardtop XS we’ve recently completed a full exterior refinish on 🔵

Finished in its original Baltic Blue, this Defender came to us as the owner’s absolute pride & joy. What started as an estimate to tackle the usual rust spots quickly turned into a full transformation, and we’re so glad they decided to go the extra mile.

All work was carried out at Larklands, where we stripped back the tired exterior and refinished the entire vehicle to give it that fresh, factory look once again.

Once the customer received the vehicle back, the next stage of the journey began — fully soundproofing the interior in preparation for a basic camper conversion.

Now protected, refreshed, and ready for its next chapter on (and off) the road ✨

After a busy start It’s fair to say Larklands have been a little quiet on the social media side of things so far this year — but that certainly doesn’t mean we’ve been quiet in the workshop. The first quarter of 2026 has been packed with our usual day-to-day accident repairs alongside a range of classic restorations, keeping the team fully immersed in the kind of detailed, high-quality work we’re known for. We’re aiming to share far more of what goes on behind the scenes, from recently completed projects to current work-in-progress and rebuilds, so you can see exactly what we’ve been busy working on.

Alongside this, we’ve also been developing an exciting new range of services which we can’t wait to introduce. We’re putting the final pieces in place and look forward to sharing more details very soon — it’s all part of our ongoing commitment to growing, improving, and offering even more to our customers.

Ilkeston Heritage & Classic Car Show 2025 ⭐️

Another successful year at the evergrowing classic car show in Ilkeston last Sunday. We had 6 of our vehicles on display showcasing the wide range of vehicles that go through our Workshop, from a 1968 Jaguar E-Type to a Lamborghini Huracan Performante.

The show continues to grow year on year & it's always a great opportunity to speak with like minded people who have a passion for cars new & old.

3 x Jaguar Land Rover Bodyshop of the Year ⭐️⭐️⭐️

On Thursday May 1st Sam & Ethan from Larklands attended the annual ABP Awards at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

We're proud to announce that for the 2nd year running we have collected the prestigious awards for not only Jaguar Land Rover Bodyshop of our Region, but also the entire UK Network. Competing against some of the best Bodyshops in the country.

The hard work & dedication from our team, as well as our commitment to the brand has paid off once again.

Check out this all new Aston Martin DB12 which we had on site last week for some minor Bodywork. The first of which was some minor cosmetic work to the Lower Front Splitter which was then followed by some detailing to the exterior of the vehicle.

This hand-built 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 producing 671bhp really is a testament to the Aston Martin slogan 'Power, Beauty, and Soul'
