Here’s what a driver sees and hears when they get close to a pedestrian with our AI 360º system fitted… 🚨

Of course, in this scenario our driver knew the pedestrian was there - but in the real world, the pedestrian could have walked out from outside the drivers view, and the system could have prevented a deadly collision.

Guy’s New (full size) Truck! 🚛

Welcome back to tech tuesdays with Guy - where we pack a lot of safety into a little video.

This week, we wanted to show off our AI Birdseye 360º system fitted on this mini DAF truck.

The system stitches together to show a full aerial 360º view of a vehicle, as well as providing in-cab alerts whenever a pedestrian is in close proximity to the vehicle.

Stitching together 1080p cameras, the system provides a full aerial view of a vehicle, greatly reducing risk in low speed manoeuvres.

Parksafe Group’s AI Birdseye 360º provides audible alerting when a vulnerable road user (like a pedestrian or cyclist) is in the close proximity, providing an extra layer of protection. The system is available with and without AI alerting, and can be deployed on LCVs, HGVs and Heavy Plant.

The system integrates with the On Demand cloud-based video telematics platform, supporting fleet managers as well as drivers.
