Csilla (pronounced Chilla) had a thriller this morning and passed her practical driving test first time at Colwick DTC with 5 minor faults. A couple of the faults were possibly down to the fact that she had only driven this particular car twice!! Well done with sticking with it and congratulations on your achievement 🥳🎉 Good luck with the PHD and the future beyond. Safe driving 🚗

Oh my, where to begin!! Special congratulations 🥳 🎉🎉 go to Francesca for passing her practical driving test this morning at Colwick DTC first time with just 3 minor faults. This was no easy task for a few reasons. She gave her permission for us to shed a little light on her learning journey. She is an M.E. and fibromyalgia sufferer which generally means she suffers from chronic fatigue and joint pain amongst other things. This has meant that we have had to sometimes take extra breaks during lessons and even cut lessons short as she was sometimes too tired or in so much pain. Occasionally she experienced ‘brain fog’ which meant that basic driving tasks eluded her much to her frustration. The journey has also involved a 3 month break from lessons as things got really bad for her medically. But she stuck with the lessons with iron clad determination. She fought through it all to bring home a fantastic pass 🎉😊We know how much this means to you. Very proud of you Fran. You’re an inspiration! Wishing you all the very best for the future. Hope to see you on the road. Safe driving 🚗

It was a very early start this morning but it was so worth it! Congratulations this time go to cool customer and recent Uni graduate Hugo 🎉🎉Despite the early start, car worries, rush hour, and the threat of rain Hugo took it all in his stride and passed his practical driving test this morning first time at Colwick Driving Test Centre with only 2 minor faults. He gets extra kudos for having to do his test in a car he hadnt driven before today 👏 Special thanks goes to fellow instructor Alex Orchiston for helping out by lending us his car last minute🙏 All the best for the future Hugo.
