General Information
Enola Remaps Ltd provides ECU remapping and related software services based on customer request and vehicle suitability. Any power, torque, or fuel economy gains discussed or advertised are estimates only and may vary depending on vehicle condition, specification, usage, driving style, maintenance, fuel quality, and environmental factors. Vehicle manufacturers’ quoted power and torque figures are approximate, and remapped results may differ from expectations. No specific outcome or performance improvement is guaranteed.

Vehicle Condition & Health Checks
A basic vehicle health check and diagnostic scan may be carried out prior to remapping. Enola Remaps Ltd reserves the right to refuse service if a vehicle is deemed unsuitable or unsafe to remap. It is not the responsibility of Enola Remaps Ltd to prove vehicle health, identify hidden defects, or diagnose underlying mechanical or electrical issues unless explicitly agreed in writing.
________________________________________
Mechanical & Electrical Liability
Vehicle components may fail whether a vehicle is standard or modified. Remapping can place increased demands on certain components and may expose pre-existing weaknesses. Enola Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for failure, damage, or wear to any mechanical or electrical components, including but not limited to: - Turbochargers - Injectors - Fuel systems - Clutches - Gearboxes - Engine internals - DPF, EGR, or emissions-related components - Sensors, wiring, or control modules - Boost pipes or boost leaks
No warranty is given or implied on any vehicle components before or after remapping, except for the remap file itself. Stage 1+, Stage 2, Stage 3, and custom performance remaps may exceed manufacturer tolerances. Enola Remaps Ltd and any associated remap writers accept no liability for damage, failure, or reduced component lifespan resulting from such modifications.

ECU Programming & Software Risk Disclaimer
During ECU remapping or software programming, there is an inherent risk of communication failure, data corruption, or interruption which may result in the vehicle’s ECU or other control modules becoming inoperable (“bricked”). Such failures can occur without negligence and are a known risk of electronic programming. In the event that an ECU or control module becomes inoperable during or following programming, Enola Remaps Ltd shall not be held responsible or liable for any costs associated with recovery, repair, replacement, reprogramming, diagnostics, transportation, storage, or vehicle downtime. Enola Remaps Ltd will not provide a courtesy vehicle, replacement vehicle, or cover the cost of vehicle hire, rental, recovery, or alternative transportation expenses.

Third-Party Software & Remap Writers
Enola Remaps Ltd may work alongside external remap writers or software providers. Liability for any errors or issues within third-party software lies with the software provider and not Enola Remaps Ltd. Some vehicles require a Virtual Read (VR), where software is obtained from a database rather than read directly from the vehicle. In rare cases, vehicles may already be previously modified without our knowledge. If no performance difference is felt due to an existing tune, no refund will be offered. If a vehicle is found to already be remapped and the existing software can be safely improved, adjustments may be made without consultation. If you do not wish an existing remap to be altered, you must inform Enola Remaps Ltd before work begins. Diagnostic or identification work may still incur a fee.

Faults, Diagnostics & Aftercare
If a fault is reported after service completion, the customer must contact Enola Remaps Ltd immediately. Advice will be provided where possible, and the vehicle may be requested to return to our premises for diagnostics or software adjustments. Enola Remaps Ltd does not cover the cost of third-party diagnostics, repairs, transport, or inspections. Customers may be asked to obtain an independent diagnosis at their own expense. If a vehicle is diagnosed as faulty, the remap may be removed. No refunds will be issued outside the stated refund policy. Reinstallation may be subject to additional charges depending on time required.
________________________________________
Refund Policy
No refunds are offered once modified software has been installed. An exception applies only if the vehicle is returned to stock within 30 days due solely to an issue caused directly by the remap file that cannot be resolved. In this case, a full refund may be issued. No refunds will be offered for: - Pre-existing faults - Mechanical or electrical failures - Vehicles already previously remapped - Lack of perceived performance improvement - DPF/EGR-related issues or MOT failures
________________________________________
DPF / EGR Modifications & Legal Responsibility
It is illegal to use a vehicle on public roads in the UK with a removed or disabled DPF or emissions control system. Enola Remaps Ltd accepts no legal responsibility for how or where a modified vehicle is used. If a vehicle fails an MOT or roadside inspection due to DPF, EGR, or emissions software or hardware modifications, Enola Remaps Ltd shall not be held liable.
________________________________________
Insurance & Manufacturer Warranty
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform their insurance provider of any ECU remapping or vehicle modification. Enola Remaps Ltd accepts no responsibility for the impact of remapping or software modifications on manufacturer warranties, terms of use, or extended warranty agreements.
________________________________________
Test Drives & Adjustments
Where possible, a test drive may be offered following completion of services to confirm vehicle operation. Minor adjustments may be carried out free of charge within a reasonable timeframe. Enola Remaps Ltd will not travel to a customer’s location for fault resolution; the vehicle must be returned to our premises.
