The Role

We are currently seeking a Clutch & Gearbox Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

Removal and refitting of clutches and gearboxes
Diagnosing gearbox including drivetrain faults
Working to a extremely high standard with attention to detail
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

What we’re Looking For:

Previous mechanical experience (clutch/gearbox experience is a must)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clean driving licence preferred
Must have your own tools. ( Specialist tools supplied by company)

One of many jobs in today...
2016 Ford Focus automatic dry powershift (6dct250 to be precise)
The customer contacted us after noticing a clutch judder in second gear.
We carried out a road test and diagnosed the fault as a clutch.
After removing the transmission and clutch pack our specialist team noticed that the self adjusting mechanism built into the clutch pack had de-adjusted.
So therefor clutch had reached the end of its life.
Another happy customer.
