BMW M4 F82 (2018) – Stage 1 Performance Package
This 2018 BMW M4 F82, powered by the S55 3.0L Twin-Turbo engine, visited Ramzy Performance for a complete Stage 1 package.
Equipped with the Bosch MEVD17.2.G ECU and Getrag 7-Speed DCT, the vehicle first underwent comprehensive diagnostics and live data logging. We monitored ignition timing, knock correction, fuel trims (STFT/LTFT), lambda, boost pressure, intake temperatures, fuel pressure and wastegate operation. The logs confirmed a healthy engine with excellent timing, stable boost and healthy fuel trims, allowing us to safely optimise the calibration.
Performance Results:
• Standard: 431HP | 550Nm
• Stage 1: 500HP | 680Nm
• Gain: +69HP | +130Nm
The Stage 1 ECU calibration delivers sharper throttle response, significantly stronger mid-range torque and smoother power delivery while maintaining OEM reliability.
We also calibrated the Getrag 7-Speed DCT TCU, providing faster gear changes, increased clutch clamping pressure, optimised shift strategy, improved launch control and quicker paddle response, ensuring the gearbox performs seamlessly with the increased power.
To complete the package, we installed the BMW GTS Performance Flash, which includes revised Active M Differential, GTS steering calibration and optimised DSC software, improving traction, steering precision and overall driving dynamics.
