2014 Audi S5 in for an automatic gearbox full service. We drained the oil, removed the sump pan, oil strainer, external filter and cleaned thoroughly. Then replaced all using genuine oils and parts.

Brake fluid has hygroscopic properties, which means that it absorbs moisture during its life. This lowers the boiling point of the fluid, which creates vapour due to the heat generated in braking. This vapour could lead to complete failure of the brakes. It is recommended that brake fluid should be changed every 2-3 years.

VW Golf R in just before Christmas.

Haldex oil change with pump removal and clean. We drain the Haldex fluid, remove the pump, clean pump gauze and housing of debris, Refill with genuine VW oil, run the pump and recheck oil level.

VW Golf R32 MK4 in for Annual service. On inspection found that the brake pad friction material had come away from the backing plate!

2004 plate VW Polo in for a new clutch yesterday as it lost complete drive. Luckily for the customer it had worn on the side that wasn't the flywheel, so only needed a new clutch kit.

2006 plate Seat Leon in for a service this morning. Took the pollen filter out and it still had the original 2006 filter in from when the car was new! A lot of garages over look the pollen filters but that's what keeps the air that comes in the car clean.

VW beetle in this morning for a new genuine timing belt kit and water pump. Also had new engine mounting bolts and coolant changed.

VW Passat dropped off to us with a rear brake caliper jammed on. Had ingress of water and corrosion in caliper motor. New brake caliper and motor fitted.
He also asked us to change the DSG oil and filter.
