Full Job Description
You will be required to work as part of our friendly, busy team to carry out vehicle servicing to a high standard. Being able to carry all types of repairs to all makes and models. Finding solutions to the problems i.e., the fitting of brakes, suspension parts and tyres, diagnostics, four-wheel alignment etc. Experience with fault diagnosis scan tests would be an advantage but not compulsory, as we can provide on-site training.
Qazi Auto Repairs Ltd specialise in the following areas:
MOT, Mechanical Repair, Supply and Fit Tyres, Four Wheel Alignment, Air Conditioning, Diagnostics and Electrical Work, Welding, Specialist DPF Cleaning, Coding, Programming and Software Updates.
Due to the expansion of the number of customers, we now require an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our company.
No formal qualifications are necessary, but you will need to have at least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical environment.
The responsibilities of the job will include:
• Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work
• Discussing required repairs with customers
• Calculating the expected time and cost of vehicle work
• Repairing or replacing components as required
• Road testing vehicles to test repair work
• Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including immobilisers, alarms, and stereos
• Performing service checks
• Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, as required
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
The successful candidate should:
Have good knowledge of removal and fitting of vehicle parts.
Have a good vehicle parts knowledge.
Qualifications in vehicle maintenance would be a bonus.
Working Schedule: 9am – 6pm - Monday to Friday. Working Saturdays could also be available for the right candidate.
