🚨 TEST BOOKINGS & CANCELATIONS 🚨

This is the only place to book your driving test, please do not book using any 3rd party websites or apps.

Only pay £62 for a weekday test or £75 for a weekend / bank holiday test.

Please only use this website to look for cancellations and change your test! It is against the new booking rules / terms & conditions to use any 3rd party websites or apps. If you use these to swap your test, you will lose your online booking privileges meaning you’ll only be able to book and manage your test by phone, your test too may also get cancelled so it’s really not worth chancing it!

HINTS & TIPS

New tests become available Mondays at 6am, please be patient as you’re likely to be in a queue of several thousand, this does go down fairly quickly just persist.

Cancellations can appear anytime, there is also examiner overtime and new examiners starting so there are times where there will be a random drop of a good volume of tests, this is pot luck so when you can just keep checking and toggle through the weeks. This will be frustrating as the majority of the time there will be nothing there again just persist.

Have your licence number and test booking reference saved somewhere on your phone such as notes, you’ll need to input these every time you check for cancellations, it will be much easier and quicker to copy and paste these as opposed to typing them in.

I speak for the majority of instructors and learners when I say this is a frustrating situation at the moment, hopefully these changes will start to have a positive impact and reduce waiting times towards the end of the year if not early next year 🤞

Really proud of this one! Huge congratulations go to Megan this morning who smashed her driving test this morning with a near perfect drive just 1 driver fault.

Megan had her test cancelled hours before her original booking which for someone who is anxious is the worse thing to happen, nevertheless she held everything together very early this morning and got the job done 👍

Well done Megan, massively proud of you, now it’s time to relax and enjoy, it’s well deserved.

‼️PLEASE STOP USING TESTI‼️

Since the latest changes to the driving test booking rules on the 12th May all I’ve heard and seen on Facebook posts is use Testi, it’s alllowed as they don’t book the test they only alert you of a cancellation, WRONG!!

Today the DVSA announced that 1178 driving licence numbers have been suspended from online booking, this means they can only call to book and manage their test!!

7 businesses using bots have also been suspended as it’s a breach of the new booking terms and conditions.

All driving test bookings should now only be between the DVSA and the learner, despite what others may say not 3rd party apps are allowed and it has been made very clear, all bookings and changes should only be made via the government website, please don’t risk it!

Fingers crossed the wait times will start to reduce, until then be patient and keep checking the government website for cancellations and examiner overtime.

‼️DRIVING TEST BOOKING CHANGES FROM TUESDAY‼️

Just a reminder this Tuesday (12th) no driving school/instructor can book or manage your driving test, it’s solely down to the learner.

Tips if you’re wanting to change your test:

* When possible keep checking the online booking system on the government website, cancellations as well as examiner overtime do drop in at anytime.

* Ask your instructor if they have another customer they could potentially swap with.

* Ask on social media, if anyone is looking for a swap.

Please do not:

* Do not share your personal details with a stranger, they only need your test booking reference to make the call.

* Do not use cancellation apps (Testi, Test Shift etc) if you get a cancellation through a 3rd party this will flag up on your licence number and you’ll lose your online booking privileges meaning you’ll only be able to book a test over the phone!!

* Do not attempt your test if you’re not ready! As instructors we appreciate that you want to pass asap but you must remember a vehicle in the hands of an unsafe driver can be a deadly weapon! A fluke driving test pass will leave you very vulnerable and a danger not only to others but yourself too!

I do honestly hope these changes bring down the waiting times, fingers crossed towards the end of the year we will see a significant change.

What I do suggest and I am forever saying this to my customers, please get your theory test done early even before you start lessons, this will make the need for a cancellation less likely.

Pass no.2 today goes to Mia who smashed it with just 3 driver faults and some really nice feedback from the examiner, well done 👏

I saw how much this means to you when we started today and it was nice to see the smile at the end, you really deserve this with all the hard work you’ve put in and I couldn’t any happier for you.

Great start to the day and massive congratulations go to Eve who this morning passed her test at Colwick, well done to her 👏

Having previously driven a while back, Eve completed a semi intensive course with me over 3 weeks more so to increase her confidence and belief that she can do this, today she has and it’s been well deserved.

Congratulations again Eve and stay safe when you get out and about.

Massive congratulations to Abby securing her 1st time pass this morning, well done 👏👏👏

I’m so proud of Abby she was so desperate to pass today and was well deserved, she has worked so hard and had a really good attitude towards her driving.

It was a real pleasure teaching you Abby, I really enjoyed our lessons and you’ll missed, enjoy your car shopping and stay safe.
