Forgot to post this on Monday, Martha Watts passed on her first attempt with just one DF, good feedback from DE about how good her driving and planning was. Yes she took it in her own car as she preferred to drive that over the Golf! That’s the second one of the twins, her sister Alice still managed to edge it earlier in the year with a zero pass at her first attempt. Bragging rights to Alice!

Celena Winter passed first time this morning after the disappointment of having her test cancelled on Monday as the examiner was stuck on the A11 in a traffic jam.

Ok so DVSA have changed the rules for learner driving test bookings, I can appreciate the need to make these changes to combat the bots charging and getting all the cancellation tests. But now I have to rely on my pupil booking tests and being ready for their test. Before it was quite easy to swap a test ready candidate for one who needs a few more lessons. Could be a lot of pupils ringing around saying my driving instructor has let me down at the last minute or basically the instructor advising they’re not ready and the pupil still insisting they want to take their test.
