Celena Winter passed first time this morning after the disappointment of having her test cancelled on Monday as the examiner was stuck on the A11 in a traffic jam.

Really good drive from Celena and some positive comments from David the DE. Well done and enjoy the freedom you’ve now got to go shopping on your own!!!

Ok so DVSA have changed the rules for learner driving test bookings, I can appreciate the need to make these changes to combat the bots charging and getting all the cancellation tests. But now I have to rely on my pupil booking tests and being ready for their test. Before it was quite easy to swap a test ready candidate for one who needs a few more lessons. Could be a lot of pupils ringing around saying my driving instructor has let me down at the last minute or basically the instructor advising they’re not ready and the pupil still insisting they want to take their test.

Alice Watts passed this morning with a perfect drive, poor Alice couldn’t get to grips with the new Golf so asked if she could take it in her car. So we did a few lessons in her little UP and took the test in it. Well done Alice, been a laugh with your constant jibber jabber through the lessons. Enjoy your new found freedom and good luck at Uni!
