Steve Martin and Sarah Martin (two of the SMW’s team) have been raising money for the DEC Ukraine humanitarian appeal.

They challenged themselves to cycle 🚲 700km and run 🏃‍♀️ 100km respectively over the month of April.

Today we have found out that they have not only completed their challenges, but Steve has gone on to do 1035km!

🎉🎉 Well done Steve!!🎉🎉

Hello to all. We are still operating in these testing times, and keeping our staff healthy by following Government guidelines.

We have just updated our menu servicing, making it simpler, and more relevant to modern vehicles built after about 2005.

We now offer 3 levels of menu service with prices starting at £65 including VAT.

We are still offering a £10 plus VAT labour rate discount for confirmed key workers. Please mention this when booking in or asking for repair estimates, and please be ready to show your identification when paying your invoice.

Please remember to wear a mask (properly!) on the premises, or when talking to our staff outside.

Unfortunately you are unable to wait in our reception area for repairs to be completed. We have taken the precaution of removing the chairs to help to dissuade you. ;)

It’s just over 3 weeks until the holiday season is upon us and we are getting in the festive spirit. It’s going to be different this year but I suspect it’s going to be one to remember.

We are working hard to make the workshop even safer for our customers and our staff. So if you are visiting us, please use a mask and don’t wait in (what we used to call) our waiting area. Please arrange transport home or grab a coffee from round the corner and have a walk down by the river and Marriotts Way.

Hello everyone,
After a short 14 day period of us all self isolating, we will all be back in the workshop on Friday the 20th November.

We are still open for business while the country is in lockdown.
We can collect and deliver for those who can’t or don’t want to leave their house. We have reduced our numbers down to just Steve, Duncan and Sarah.
So it will only be one of the boys who picks up, no one else.

In addition to that we are reducing our prices to trade labour for key workers, which is a saving of £10 per hour.
