A reminder about the importance of regular car servicing.
A local driver popped in on the off chance to ask us to investigate a loud scraping noise when braking. Upon investigation we discovered the brake pads had completely worn out, the noise was metal on metal. In the photo you will see the replacement brake pad on the right, and the worn through pad on the left. The car had not not been serviced for two years. When we carry out a full service, we remove the wheels and check the condition of the brakes to ensure you would never be in this dangerous position. Servicing is usually advised at least annually. To book a service, repair or MOT call 01603 627789
