Glad to be offering a prize for an online charity auction.

Organised by Ian Dickinson of Costessey Sports Club...

The winning bidder will get a free interim service on their own or a nominated vehicle, as long as it not a bus, lorry, or tractor lol..

Further details will be linked below once they're in place and available... 👍

MOT EXTENSION HAS NOW FINISHED...

MOT extension will finish as of the 1st of August, so if your car is due an MOT before then you're still entitled to the EXTENSION, though I'd advise that you get it done as normal or as soon as possible, however if its due to expire on or after the 1st of Aug you will legally need to get it done...as there will be no extension granted from this date...

Your car still needs to be in a road worthy condition though, not a "well it starts and drives OK so it should be fine condition..."

Hopefully that'll clarify things for those that are asking...

Still operating normal business hours even while on lock down for anything you require 👍👍

New rules now fallen into place folks...If your mot is due after the 30th of March you will have a six month extension period where it will be ok to drive... Those needing one before then still need to get one done.

Your car will still need to be in a roadworthy condition though.

Meanwhile we are and will continue to do MOTs for those that want them and also repairs.

My biggest concern will be in 6 months time when everyone wants an MOT... and there won't be enough MOT slots for those that left it...

At the end of the day it's your choice...We won't force you to have it done...

Temporary exemption will enable vital services to continue, frontline workers to get to work, and people to get essential food and medicine.

Afternoon folks....

Well with the current situation as it is I have been doing some investigation into the MOT and servicing debarcle...
As it stands you still need an MOT to use your car, or park it on the road, if you have no MOT tax and insurance will be invalid and liable to fines.

As garages and MOT testing stations are classed as essential services, your MOT is also an essential requirement.

With regards to wether you can drive to the garage to take your car, as it is classed as essential, yes you are allowed.
If you are self isolating then you're advised not to, and arrange with the garage to pick up, or another alternative.

Also if your are feeling unwell with possible symptoms then also you're advised not to bring your car in and arrange for a collection or another alternative.

We will endeavour to do our upmost to ensure that everyone has the chance for collection if needed, but please bare in mind that there is only two of us here.

We also have now taken on the use of gloves etc and disinfecting vehicles steering wheels, gear sticks, handbrake, lights wipers stalks to ensure that no cross contamination can occur.

We hope this has cleared up some of the misconceptions regarding this matter.

Look forward to hearing from you all and stay safe...

We remain open until we're told to close.

Thankfully it would 'appear' we are still able to open and offer our services... As classed as essential services.. this obviously may change depending on parts suppliers, out of house businesses and how they are affected...

Until then business is as usual... If vehicles do need picking up due to self isolation etc please call and let us know and we will try to arrange collection... Many thanks 👍
