We had a customer contact us regarding servicing their little Citroen c1. They were told by other garages that because they were supplying the parts to that they wouldn’t do the job. We do not put money on top of our parts so we have no issues with anyone supplying parts.

We’ve had a super busy first week back with lots of mots, services and other repairs.

This one mot has unfortunately highlighted the issue with the dreaded main dealer!

This Seat Arona is part of a service plan from the main dealer and was serviced at a cost of nearly £500 just before Christmas. Fast forward under 20 days later and under 50 miles, the car fails it mot because the rear brake pads are down to the metal!

We were more than happy to replace the pads and get the car retested for the customer but they were shocked that the main dealer had missed something so obvious.

Just because they’re a main dealer and have a big showroom doesn’t make them better than a small business. We come across this far too often.

We had this lovely bmw x3 in for a full service including brake fluid renewal.
With the customer working off shore and only weekends available we made the effort to fit them in on a rare Saturday morning.
