📣 QUICK HEADS UP — WE’RE CLOSED THIS AFTERNOON

We’re here as normal this morning, but Car Friend will be closed this afternoon while we get the whole team together for a meeting and some training.

We’ll be talking about what’s working, what we can improve and looking at ways we can make your experience with us even better.

Because looking after cars is only half the job.

Looking after the people who own them matters just as much. ❤️

So if you try to call or pop in this afternoon and wonder where everyone’s disappeared to…

We haven’t all gone to the pub. 😂

We’re just getting our heads together.

Normal service — including coffee, biscuits and Vicki having a good chin wag — will resume tomorrow. ☕🍪

⚠️ CUSTOMER NOTICE – OUTSTANDING PAYMENT ⚠️

We don't normally do things like this publicly, but we've tried everything else.

A gentleman called Steve visited us a couple of weeks ago.

Steve seemed lovely.

He had a coffee.

Then another coffee.

He had two biscuits – and we're fairly certain one of them was the last chocolate digestive.

He made full use of our fast WiFi while he waited.

Had a good chin wag with Vicki about holidays, the weather and why nobody can drive properly around the Orbital.

We checked his car over, explained everything clearly and even showed him exactly what we'd found.

He left happy.

But unfortunately...

Steve still owes us £0.00.

Because we made him up.

Steve doesn't exist. 😂

We just wanted to remind you that while your car's with us, you're more than welcome to make yourself at home.

Honestly this is so sweet - this lady has had so many issues - non of it her fault but in the end it's not always about how well things go. It's about how you help when they don't 🥹🥹 so proud of my team especially Vicki on this occasion. It's so lovely when customers really appreciate what we do 🥰

"Why should I pay a garage just to LOOK at my car?"

We had this exact question this week, so let's answer it honestly. 👇
